Hey if you don't want to be her friend just say so. Haha.
Not sure if you were serious or just being silly, but just in case youwerent joking, carolina is not a female and there are others here that are of the opposite sex but he ain't one of them
Confirmed this is the set up on ALL - F Sport Wheels on IS 500

I have already seen the Black BBS wheels stamped 45 & 60.
The Enkei wheels will likely have the same stampings in the inside of hub mounting area.

Thanks for the info, if I end up pulling the trigger on the powder coating - I'll get pics of the inside stamp. Thinking I'll make a decision here in the next week or so.
I've been browsing around Fitment Industries and I can't find jack for the stock sizes and offsets. The staggering complicates it further. I know you want to stay within 5mm or so and I didn't really plan on messing with spacers. Am I missing something here?
My eagle landed today too! Received at San Diego port 12/29, Bay Area trek completed 1/24. I got the call while driving 2 miles away and the dealer invited me in for a sneak peak. 4 miles on the ODO. I asked them to skip the wash as I'll tackle that myself and no front plate holder. Hendrick Lexus of Pleasanton has been amazing at keeping me updated and sticking to MSRP. They are adding a reputable brand ceramic tint and I'm totally fine with that. There were a few is350s in the showroom but all with SOLD tags on them. Tough market!
This car looks so damn good! I drove by a regular old IS 300 after stopping by a grocery store on the way home. I can't wait to see the Enkei wheels
and the raised hood.
Got an email from my dealership. Looks like my car is here. They asked what add-ons I wanted, like PPF and ceramic coating. PPF is Suntek. Anyone have any experience with Suntek?

Suntek is fine, I used to have Suntek tints on my first prius, never peeled or faded. But you know what's not fine? Check engine lights. Good luck! LOL

Congrats! I wish I could say the same with my experience over at Pleasanton. I'm about to stop by within the next couple weeks and get my deposit back. My contact there is normally good but hasn't been very helpful at keeping me updated on anything. I text them a week ago and asked where I was on the waiting list... I was told they needed to wait for another sales manager to arrive the same day of my text. I waited until late afternoon and my contact just said the other manager had been out a few days and they were arriving in a few. I asked them to get back to me when they had a chance to check. Two days later no reply so I reached out again and crickets.. not even a reply another three days later. Not really the best way too do business in my opinion. Keep in mind I don't reach out for an update often.. maybe once a month.. and yeah.. Not a happy camper at the moment.

I had deposits at 3 dealerships and this was pretty much my exact experience with all of them. I can't tell you how many times I was tempted to just pull my deposit out of spite, and I probably should have. Most salespeople don't bother to communicate with you at all unless you're about to buy a car - as in, the car is in their lot, you're in their lot, and they can see your wallet hanging out of your pocket.
They're an interesting bunch. Predictably bad. I had a good experience with the salesperson I bought from, but that's likely because the car was already on the way to the dealership and I was the one that claimed it first. If I was cold called him, I bet he'd be just like everyone else.

I'm sorry to hear this. My sample size of purchases with them is 2 after this is all done. Over the past year I have relied on this forum for updates vs. calling them but I did call them immediately after our members began seeing blips on the radar. I actually got no where with them at that time. I guess I can only vouch for the individual sales people there. The used side of the lot is at capacity so I'm guessing they have still been busy.
I'm sorry to hear you're pulling your deposit. I would probably be receiving similar treatment and doing the same if a car wasn't immediately on the horizon. Wishing you sincere best of luck...

It's just odd because my sale rep is someone I've worked with several times and have sent my friends and family to them so we have rapport. I just didn't think asking for an update on where I'm at on the waiting list was such a difficult thing.

I am gonna be so mad if I've waited since April, bought winter wheels and tires, and the damn thing throws a code right away.
So the tech said last Monday after I passed along your easy fix that the exhaust gasket was the first thing inspected and it wasn’t the problem, instead it was an oxygen sensor which had been ‘tested’ to be defective, but then when the new oxygen sensor was finally delivered Lexus corporate told them to instead first replace both exhaust gaskets, and since ‘fixed’ the problem Lexus Corporate told them not to go ahead and replace the oxygen sensor. This approach worked for all of 2.5 days.
Regardless the original, supposedly problematic - but not replaced - oxygen sensor was finally replaced today with no positive results. And, again, both exhaust gaskets have been replaced. So we’re now waiting once again for yet another oxygen sensor … which might or might not get replaced depending on the whims of Lexus Corporate.
Most interesting to me and this forum is that I was told told that all IS 500’s would have to get this fix. Without a doubt this could be pure “you’re not alone” BS, but if true figure it’s worth a couple raised eyebrows around these parts. It’s pretty clear by now that the dealership and/or Lexus Corporate have no idea what’s really going on so who knows what to think of what I’m being told.
They're simply going the cheaper route first. They're making the cheap fix first, because it's simply that...cheap. If the cheap fix works on most cars, then they save all that money from not having to replace a more expensive part.
Sadly, this route is going to go against common sense, since Lexus' goal is making money after all.
Picked this up in Cherry Hill today. I went in Saturday and there was a tag on the car that said there was a $5k market adjustment but they dropped it. They gave me great money for my car too. Overall really great experience.
