Post script: I know most of us aren't spring chickens and equivalently not completely over the hill yet. But how many of us are appreciative of having the last car with a CD player. So cool!

I'm just about to turn 26 in a couple weeks, but I honestly like that it comes with a cd player

Guilty. If it’s my turn to drive a group of us to dinner, I have a chill-house CD playing low in the background. The quality is so much better than digital. 😎

The IS 500 has a few ‘lasts’ which are cool and sad simultaneously.

Back 20 years ago, Mark Levinson home audio was available only to the well-healed. It was on all audiophiles wish list.

thanks!! I’ll be honest caviar wasn’t my first choice. Never really wanted the challenge of a black car. Ideally would’ve gotten white or USB but it was the only one available in state.

CDs are digital. There is no needle in there…LOL! 😂

Looks like according to news reports this morning the chip shortage is worse than everyone thought, which doesn't bode well for the possibility of production increasing this year.

Also before you jump right into purchasing PPF and ceramic for your brand new IS500 consider driving it several hundred miles first to make sure it's not a lemon.

I agree, we are not out of the woods with supply issues which is why the 2022 will be very limited.

Have you had any other issues with yours?

Dealership just got it yesterday so I went to look at in its PDI state, start it up, run up against the soft suede, the usual things.

Not really a good idea - You take the chance of paint dings on the front

I don’t get it. Spending thousands of dollars to cover my car in plastic. I’ll take the paint dings, that’s how you know it’s broken in
