So do we have any idea on when the next IS 500 allotment will occur? Or is this just the regular 20th of every month deal?

Yes, it’s great that you scored a 500 at MSRP. From the looks of Autotrader, it is hard to believe these cars are even being manufactured right now. I believe the ‘22s will be very rare.

My dealer said mine will be arriving on the week of Feb 14th rather than Jan 31st which is fine by me...

Spoke to a new dealer today, Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett, and was informed they have a non-negotiable $3000 ceramic coating charge. (In addition to other add-ons.) I politely said thank you for your time, but no. Her response: “Well unlike other dealers who apply market adjustments, we’re giving the customers something.” 🙄

In other news, spoke to one of my original dealers and they confirmed what was posted here earlier, spec orders will be accepted very soon.

I've heard varying things from dealers: twice a month, every 2 weeks, a week and a half, 10 days. So 10-15 day average?

But does it come with the free undercoating?

That would be great news. I'd prefer to deal locally, and I wouldn't mind the wait if I could remove the common trunk mat package and replace it with $450 3M PPF.

This is exactly the line my local dealership used on me...

now I can give them a list of 3 or 4 off the top of my head that don’t charge mark ups or add ons, just to prove them wrong. But whatever lol, I already have the car...

Honestly, we didn’t get that far into the conversation. 😎 Said she’d talk to her manger about coming down from that price and sent a text later that it was non-negotiable.

Heck yeah, I’ve waited since March 2020, what’s a few more?

It was amazing, I literally looked at my phone when she said it. The phone said, “Don’t blame me.” 😂

"When they install that Truecoat at the factory, there's nothing we can do."

Ugh, that'll be my local dealer after I move in a couple of weeks. I had heard of someone getting a reasonable (read: not much over MSRP) deal there, or so I thought...

The sad thing is, someone will probably be more than willing to eat the $3k to be able to park an IS 500 in their driveway.

Trust me, I really want this car, but every time I washed it the annoyance would creep up.

If someone wants to pay it, cool…I just can’t.

I got the wife's GS F for $66.1K from Nalley Roswell. Hennessey couldn't get within $4k of that price. My experience with Hennessey has not been the best. I bought my IS F and GS F from Nalley Roswell.

OK....here's my dilemma for the day. Just got a call from my dealer I'm working with. They have another LE that was going to someone and that person has now decided not to buy. Since I am first on the list for a Premium he has asked me if I want it. I'm on the fence but I am going by later this evening to see in person. This is the second time he's asked me about an LE and I am conflicted and think if I see in person I going to fall in love. And at MSRP!

The interior of the LE is stunning in person. The suede is very soft and the dark wood grain looks fantastic. I'm a bit biased though.
