A little off topic, but I just saw the 2022 NX Interior update. Seems like Lexus will be transitioning (finally) to a more digital cockpit, planned for pretty much all the models by 2025. The 2022 IS500 will still have the older interior. Thoughts on the new interior? The larger screen is nice, but I don't think I'm a fan of how the controls are on screen. Wireless AppleCarplay and Android Auto sure is nice though.
The size, placement and the angle of the screen needs some getting used to, to put it mildly...I wonder how the right-most edge of the screen will look like from the passenger's side. Will it show the entire protruded edge or is it just a thin slab of LCD screen.
this thread is so long I don't recall if this has been discussed already. does anyone know if the OEM exhaust set up/layout of the IS500 will be similar to the RCF? I'm wondering if the Amuse R1 Titan TI rear section that's made for the RCF would fit on the IS500.

exactly. really want to know pricing and when these things will starting hitting the showroom. I've began the process of putting my Macan back to stock and have been getting some online appraisals to get a ballpark of what my car will fetch. I'll probably sell my current car late August and borrow my inlaw's Acura until the IS500 is available.

I’d say you are spot on, heard rumors. Im also blessed to see 3 is500 come thru for corp. silver, blue and red. So keep a lookout on SoCal streets. You can easily miss them as I had them parked side by side to a fsport and you can bearly notice differences.
Be prepare to pay markup in current state of chip shortage and dealers are desperate to keep inventory of any cars.

I’m pretty sure of it. It’s unfortunate that this car will come out at the worst time for consumers to buy one and it will be out of reach for most because of it.
