^^^ So very sorry you’re going through this… 😞
Seems to be worse than everyone else.

Joe Z would be better in answering this, but there is a separate part number for a mounting kit for this spoiler. Now I’m not sure if that is for the Is300 which has no spoiler, or if you need that kit even if you already have a spoiler. As a person with the CF spoiler, my god. Worth every penny. The mirrors are gorgeous too but they are overpriced. I feel as though the spoiler is a better bang for your buck. I’m not sure if it’s even possible, but if you can, I would suggest getting it installed at the port solely because you get 4 year warranty. I’ve seen some people on the forum with DHP cars report that the spoiler is warping at the edge. As a result I always make the effort to use the handle on the inside of the trunk and I tell everyone to do the same. As far as the mirror caps, the Lexus stock photo really doesn’t do it justice. Here they are on an IS350 fresh off the truck and in the sun. Stunning. But pricey.

Good question… I haven’t removed the Black F Sport spoiler on any new IS yet..
But there is a possibility the mounting holes would line up..
( I would hope )
Someone would have to ask the IS 350 F Sport owners if they have removed the basic black spoiler yet..

So Lexus sent an 'acknowledgement' letter today titled in an incredibly adversarial way ("MyLastName vs. Lexus", like it' a court proceeding). In this letter Lexus states that I have asked for the vehicle to be repurchased, which isn't the case as I specifically asked both in writing and verbally for it to be replaced. Regardless they're saying it'll be 30-45 days before they reach a 'decision' - no doubt Lexus' legal department will decide against me as it should be obvious to everyone on this forum and elsewhere that a car which I've only had in my driveway for two days out of 22+ days is up to Lexus' standards.
As for my vehicle itself, it still sits dormant at the dealership awaiting the replacement of one exhaust manifold. Why they aren't replacing both exhaust manifolds as both exhaust banks are throwing codes is beyond me. Even worse they're now making me 'authorize' repairs, as if someone would be fine with the car just rotting away in their driveway unrepaired and unusable. And this all is without getting into how many bolts/clips/brackets/sensors/etc/etc/etc have to be removed & properly replaced just in order to replace an exhaust manifold on a car with as tight of an engine bay as the IS 500.

Jororo - I am sorry for all the issues you have been having with your IS 500. As other have said, it appears your car seems to have a more serious issue than others so if you have the ability to have the car taken off your hand, I would certainly take it. I am not sure about others but I know that my "love affair" would be very tampered after what you went through and would not really the enjoy the car afterward, or it would take me a while after this to put it behind me. Again, it is totally your choice but if Lexus wants to buy the car, it may be in your best interest to cut your loss and move. Again, everyone has an opinion and mine is just that, but I would then wait at least for the 2023 until getting into another one. Keep us posted...

In a few days almost 2 weeks with mine currently at 700 miles such a fun car to drive. Tints in a few weeks and maybe Xpel front bumper clear-bra.
