Here is another LE video and what I like with this guy is that he seems to understand the concept of not abusing a car he doesn't own, wish there were more guys like him:
Here is a quick promo video of a white IS 500 and liked that they use some Lexus footage to showcase what the car can do rather than abuse it, but then show some quick glimpse of the vehicle, now maybe it's because it's in the combo I would be getting that I like it too

Your post was very enjoyable to read and something to get me excited about the 500 however, this statement left me a bit perplexed. It is unfortunate that the 500 doesn't feel as informative on the road feel as the 350 is, or was that a typo? I mean overall, you have highlighted a lot of extra goodies typing the scale in favor of the 500 but this one is still a very important factor so I though I would ask.

^^ Oh OK - A heavier feeling steering is not a bad thing - I read it as if you were saying the 350 felt more nimble and enjoyable to drive while the 500 felt blahh...

I believe we’re speaking about the same dealer, Lexus of Winter Park. At one point they had 3 LEs marked up $40K, can’t find one on their site anymore. They also have a white premium which is marked up $17.5K.

Are you serious?!? A dealer in Florida is asking 40K about MSRP for a Launch Edition? I had seen 30K but this takes the cake!! I am sorry, but someone is going to feel pretty dumb in a few years when they realize that they paid for a hype!

What’s odd is that my wife’s 2015 CT200h F Spirt steering feels way way way heavier than the IS500. In fact it’s a very well balanced and firm car in general. Idk if heavier steering is the right term to use here, but the wheel is just stiffer to turn and I like it. Not that that takes away from the IS500. It’s also balanced in its own respect and the power train makes up for it.

Production Date: 11/05/2021
Vessel Arrival: 12/01/2021
Railhead Departure: 01/07/2022
Est Railhead Arrival (KC): 02/04/2022
Est Delivery to dealer: 02/08 - 02/14/2022
This is the 3rd time it's been pushed back with the initial delivery dates of 01/24-01/28/2022
I'm also wondering if mine is one of the first ones produced with a 11/05 production date.
Again, I apologize if I'm being a little b__tch.

^^ For what its worth, one of the dealer I know was expecting a car in late December but then got pushed to early January and will now get it this week, so these delays are a lot more common than we would like

Well, time for Negative Nancy (aka Debbie Downer, aka Gloomy Gus) over here to eat some crow ... just got a call from Lexus Corporate and they're going to swap out the car.
And surprisingly my wife, who wanted the white on red color combo, said to get infrared on black, which wasn't even on my radar as she had said not to get a 'flashy' exterior color (pic from a YouTube screenshot). I still love the white on red - extremely classy but subtle color combo.

That doesn't necessarily solve the issue for everyone else but hopefully they plan to take your car, inspect it hardcore in Japan with their LFA engineers, bring some out of retirement if they have to, and figure out the root cause.
