LOL!! It’s not funny, but if you didn’t laugh, you’d cry. Lexus needs to fix that fiasco!

I’d definitely want to see it in person. I think if the non-Fuji variant was fully painted, it would read much better.

Dear God in heaven…nope I’m out. If I get anymore intimate with my car, I’ll need to put a ring on it. 😂

^^ I am surprised as I thought he was getting a Launch Edition as he had apparently ordered one.

I thought he was only waiting for the new Tundra.
Don't make me go into a rant on how these are being allocated to some dealers without anyone waiting for one though. 😏

I honestly hate how everyone in the comments say this is or is going to be a collectors car. The things that become collectibles are never popular when they first come out, that’s how they become rare. When everybody’s buying it they’re no longer really a collectible, just like beanie babies.

Edit: the LFA is a perfect automotive example

The Miata is a perfect example of the opposite. First gen Miata prices have skyrocketed in the last few years, and it was wildly popular when it came out.

LOL!! Who knew you could use beanie babies in a convo about a Lexus. Hilarious. 😜

So, if there is a long waiting list and he wasn't on it, how did he get this one? What about everyone on the so called "list"?

I was waiting for Cloudburst/Red at two dealers but my IR/White became available because the buyer backed out and I had cash in hand. They asked people on their IS 500 wait list list and I responded first. That's probably what happened with David. Lots of people back out of cars.

Yeah, cheap RWD cars like that have just skyrocketed up in value. I bought my AE86 in Japan in 2014 for $5500. You cannot find one now that's not a rust bucket for under $16000. Good ones are getting close to 30k+ Mint condition ones are going for 50-60k..... Now mine falls into that last field.

Im surprised C&D would get the transmission wrong. (Stated the *10* speed got overheated.)

At any rate, nice vid, love watching the other cars too! Although this confirms my idea of immediately replacing the Bridgestones with a set of Michelin Pilot 4S’.

Wow, AE86 is super retro. I'd forgotten all about it, pretty cool!!!
