Yes! For those waiting, hang tight in there. this is one tight chassis. Feels molded like a block of cement - which is a good thing. And the build quality is truly impressive.
I am impressed by something as simple as the quietness and effectiveness of the wipers. They feel so much nicer than other cars In the stable that cost far more.
Do our cars have ambient lighting?

Thanks for the encouragement, I needed it. In moments of weakness I also think of offering up to 3k because if I bought in another state and had to ship covered, the cost plus the hassle is worth about that much too me. But just hanging in there on the few wait-lists will probably make me happiest so I don't think about having paid over MSRP and feeling bad about it and ruining what should be an otherwise wonderful experience.
Buy it and have fun!

Honestly, I don't think they will make enough this year to satisfy everyone on lists. This is why dealers are charging ADM's. 3k over is nothing, especially if it's local and convenient. I think you'll regret not buying one. Car buying is different than it's ever been. Paying over MSRP is the norm now. A recent study shows 82% of all car buyers pay over MSRP. The problem is, most people do not want to admit they did, so, like this forum, 99% pay MSRP (cough, cough) and everyone pays cash/check.

Personally, I don’t doubt the majority of people in here got it at MSRP.

There was a dealership local to me charging $40K markup and someone was able to get that removed and purchase an LE at MSRP, everything is negotiable. With how much pushback this forum gives every time there’s an IS500 with ADM posted I am not surprised that most here claim to pay MSRP. Keep in mind if they are in this forum they’re most likely well informed and are willing to put in more effort than your regular consumer.

Exactly! I walked on my first LE at MSRP because the dealer tried to rip me off on my trade in by like $4k. I was told MSRP over the phone and they wanted to change it when I arrived at the dealer. Then they tried to insert the ADM by lowering my trade value. I walked and drove 2.5 hrs and bought at MSRP. I also got KBB trade in value on my trade. The first dealer called me back the next day agreeing to everything I wanted the day before. You have to be willing to walk if the terms aren't favorable.
