Thanks buddy, I appreciate the plug I try and collaborate actively to the forum, it is a great place to be with great people! I will say that one I know would have jumped on my white (with red interior) would have been Answer but he is getting a Launch Edition - Other than that, I am not aware of other forum members from Canada waiting in the wings for a white on red (or is that a red on white...not sure what is the naming convention but the white exterior with red interior)

i don’t know how they found or got one. Lexus corporate handled all of that. They were amazing
I’ll never buy another car other than a Lexus.

It was funny how I wasn't really jazzed about the black-on-black IS 350 I was shopping for, so, lo and behold, a red-on-Iridium shows up at the dealer the same day and is now in my garage.
That's part of the reason why I calmed down when it comes to the IS 500... One, I just got the 350 less than a year ago, and two, I want the hype to die down a bit for pricing and selection reasons.

wtherman2, do it!
Yesterday was the first day I had to drive the car and it is immensely enjoyable. It isn't as outright rapid as some of it's competitors and it doesn't matter.
It is an exercise in execution and that's where this absolutely shines - the compact size, omnipresent v8 and vault-like interior reminds me of my old boss's Jaguar V8 XFR: unbothered by the Germans, awesome sound system and exhaust note and outright cool.
This is hard feeling to explain and it is the only new car that offers it.
