More than anything it is a matter of logistics. The ES is made in the US and the Michelins that came with it are also american made. But the IS500 and LS500 and Japanese made and the Bridgestone tires that were installed on it are also Japanese made.

The trans under hard acceleration or manual mode seems way more choppy than my 2016. Might have Lexus check it out to make sure it’s okay.
We thought it was raining at first. Almost bought the Meguiar’s bug and tar remover, but the wash got them off. Madness, I couldn’t imagine living with that threat Bird Poop is enough! 😂

Thanks! I hit 982 miles yesterday. Will take it in for an oil change this Thursday and top off the fluids, used a crap ton of window washer.

You don't want to mess around with one of the most high stress components of a car. If there is an issue in a transmission, it will only get worse over time. Better to be safe than sorry, especially with how slowly these cars are coming out.

The maintenance schedule says 1K miles or 1 month. I have 982 miles now and I want everything checked over after the trip. I put less than 3K miles on my car last year and still had the oil changed every 6 months. 😎

My thoughts exactly. If the spidey-sense is tingle’n, listen. 😉

No it’s rolling, sport or sport+ at 70+ mph, I’ll floor it and the downshift seems hard and the up shift just as much. Could just be the difference from 306hp to 472hp! 😉 At any rate, I don’t mind spending the money for peace of mind. Additionally, if something pops up down the road, I’ll have the visit logged.

[QUOTE=DLPTony;11242968]I can see that, but I will tell them to test the car in Sport+ and Manual. To make it feels right to them. It could be me just being insane. 😜
Let them know you’ll be checking how they treat her in pulse app 🤣🤣🤣

This is going to be "obvious" to some but I found a way to resolve my main complaint of driving this car in deep snow.
In normal mode, the TC cuts off power way too soon in deep snow. In SNOW mode, it allows it to spin and lets it find grip just enough to get moving now.
