Same! They are not I have been told. The Launch editions are most likely going to be, the regular ones they say they will not. If not under 70k otd maybe it is time to hop back into searching for a used gs-f and just add the carplay module to it and call it a day

Same, the car is not worth over $70k otd. That is what steered me away from the GS F too, super overpriced for what you get.

Ever? Or just that dealership?

Anything is possible. Lexus dealers in SoCal are marking up cars $5k-10k over MSRP because of the inventory shortage.

L-Certified GS F would be a very solid alternative. I've considered that being I miss my IS F and my GS 350 F SPORT.

Not for this year at least, not for Canada. USA seems to have it.

Yeah, it's becoming damn hard to find a decent one that hasn't been in an accident or wasn't a dealer demo car. When the brochure came out last week, I asked my sales guy about the car being sold to me at MSRP and he said I have nothing to worry about so fingers crossed.

Same. I really want the car, but not at $70K. Granted, I’d theoretically only finance $55K-$60K but it’s the principle for goodness sakes. It’s not worth $70K. Yeesh.

Why would USB be offered for the IS 350 but not the IS 500?! USB literally started with the IS F, you know...the one with the V8

I think the "No USB for 2022" is only for Canada, and I have no idea why Lexus Canada would have done it this way... I'm a bit gutted, but I guess Infrared isn't a bad consolation choice.

my plan was to sell my current vehicle, pad that amount and put down about $30k. I really don't want my payments more than $600 or so. (assuming I can get the same rate I currently have of 2.2% @ 72 months.)

That would be awesome! At the current rate, I might make a $7K profit over what is owed on my IS. I haven’t factored it in, because the market could slow on any day. Hope we all can get it AND be happy with the purchase! (None of the ‘Wish I had this or that…’ feelings.)

started searching used GS-F today again, really love the look of the IS500 but them making most of them "fully spec'd" or loaded with packages and features I may not want or need is about enough to push me to drop the want for an IS500 and just go used GS-F. I personally have no need for anything other than Nav/Lev, the memory package, and possibly a sunroof, if I can order the car that way I would gladly wait for it IMO. This is all basing everything on Lexus actually giving us the price sometime soon hopefully which at this point I am thinking won't happen till Sept as it seems as that is when production will start

Because IS 500 F SPORT Performance in Canada is a very very low production model compared to here in the USA. AWD is needed in Canada than RWD cars because of their climate.

Why? Torque braking accomplishes the same thing. I have Launch Control on my 2020 RC F and it sucks. I can get a better launch by torque braking it on my own.

If not, get the GS F since the initial orders of IS 500 F SPORT Performance will be fully loaded. This historically has been the case with all new models, including the launch of IS F back in 2008. Just be patient, enjoy your summer!
