I was able to get on a waitlist in Florida this week. 3rd in line at MSRP for a non first edition build. Deposit is refundable should pricing be higher than expected or I decide to cancel for any reason.
I’ve owned M3s my whole life but could never get interested in anything after the e90, I still own an e46 m3 now. Excited to have a Lexus option that retains an NA v8 in a sedan!

Did anyone happen to see somewhere what calipers are on the car? I was just thinking about it today after watching some old GS F videos. With the 2 piece rotors I was wondering if they put 6 piston calipers on the front or if they went with standard 4 piston.

some dealers have been taking deposits for wait lists for some time now. personally, I put my deposit down in May and was able to get the number 1 spot. some dealers have 'interested' non official lists that don't require a deposit but you are also just on a general list of people that are interested and nothing is promised. other dealers won't respond to you or just don't seem to care. call around. good luck.

Kinda dumb not to have in a $50k car.Depending on the dealership group, some are taking deposits now, some are not taking deposits until they receive allocation.

when I arrived at the dealer that I put the deposit down at, I got the feeling they thought I was crazy like, 'look at this guy, it's barely May, car doesn't come out till Fall and he's telling us to take his money.' last time I chatted with them, they now have 9 people behind me. yeah, who's crazy now?! LOL
