Cloudburst Grey with the white Nuluxe for me. I'm done with black interiors. I've had them forever.

Dodge is the only one left who could possibly put a V8 in a mid size sedan. Is anyone on CL aware of a D segment platform that they're planning on putting a V8 in?
The Germans are done. South Korean auto makers? Nope. Other Japanese options? Nope.

Dodge/Chrysler don't even make mid-size sedans any more, the Charger/300C are full-size. And I don't think the Alfa Giulia platform would fit a V8, though I'd love to see a Hellcat V8 in there!

I thought Dodge was going full EV on their performance lineup. I think this is it for the V8 in the sedan category. I wouldn't worry too much about the speed as its more of a visceral feeling car. Speed doesn't really matter anymore...that grocery getting SUV thats a full EV will smoke almost any ICE to 60 anyway. This will be way better than an M340 if they keep the price anywhere near mid $60k.

I got excited when I saw this car first announce but now I am not sure. I own an RC350 and wish it was an RC-F but the interior will be mostly the same as the standard models. That extra hp and torque should do better than the stats show. I am really close to picking up a 21 supra in the next few weeks and the performance on that car is night and day different than the lexus variants that are out. I have owned 7-8 Lexus cars and Still have my old 08' RX350 but when it comes to excitement I feel like Lexus is a step behind BMW and Audi. Lexus cars run forever, hold their value and pretty nice overall. However, the biggest drawback to me is they lack a soul or some excitement to get you out of the house in most cases. I like the RC-F, GS-F and IS-F but each one had some glaring issues such as weight, transmission with no DCT or manual, and most of all they don't perform stat wise like their competition. I love the cars for long term ownership but I really wish they could get on board and reach for the stars more like the LFA did. The Supra is basically a BMW but it still says Toyota on it. The strange part to me is they made the Supra with a B58 engine and did the RC/IS-F cars with the V8 engine. both have pros and cons but That supra engine can get up and haul *** with min mods. The other part is the ZF Transmission is pretty nice even thought it could be improved it shifts pretty fast. I hope the IS500 comes closer to the feel of that car acceleration wise as it certainly has a lot of hp on paper. Time will tell but I hope it works out better.

It will also greatly depend on the final drive ratio that the IS500 will be equipped with. The 2015-2019 Lexus RCF had a 2.94 final drive ratio while the 2020+ RCF received a shorter 3.13 final drive ratio which helped improve the 0-60 time. I don't believe Lexus has yet to release the final drive ratio for the IS500 but we'll see once that info is released.

@flipside909 Does the 500 even have the oil and trans cooler from the RC F? I remember there was speculation it possibly does not back a couple of months ago, its great if it does!
