The internet was our best friend before this shortage. If one dealer doesn't mark it up, other dealers won't sweat it because once that one dealer sells their 1 or 2 units, the leverage is now in the hands of others dealers who actually has the units. IS350s in desirable colors are marked up right now and if the stars line up, you may be able to get it for MSRP. Even some dealers who has never mark up their cars are not doing it due to "market adjustment." Just FYI there are people going around buying cars from dealers who wasn't marking them up to turn around and flip them for a profit.

Just be patient and let the frenzy die down. Once these are sit around long enough, they will let them go at MSRP or less.

If I pull the trigger on this, I'll request April delivery, after the winter is over , so hopefully that is enough time. But who knows . Or will they charge us an arm and leg to get the 500 ?

It is serious. Here's the official release from Toyota Global:

That's not official. Pricing has not been announced by Lexus USA. No dealership has this info anywhere.

This Lexus IS500 is the Top Gun 2 movie sequel equivalent!

I'm not seeing memory seat in any of these fully loaded demo models. And if the ML audio isn't great like he says I may just go for the base model.

I suspect the same ML system in the 2021s will be carried over to this model as well. If you haven’t heard it in action, look for a YouTube reviewer named ‘The Topher’. His specialty are POVs with a sound segment and he has reviewed the ML systems in the IS, GS, RX, and LC. I have the standard Lexus sound system in my current and his videos totally sold me on the ML. It sounded that good to me.

ML is good. I feel that I have not experienced its full potential due to the tire noise, however. Once the Bridgestone tires wear out, I'll probably swap something a little quieter on. When sitting still, the sound is awesome. Tons of bass is available should you want it.

I've seen videos saying the 500 will have Bridgestone tires, but others say Michelin PS4 tires. I really hope it's the PS4, I have never owned a good bridgestone tire in my life.

I have a feeling that it will be the case that the LE will get PS4 since it has the forged BBS and the normal one gets the Bridgestone S0010L. The last couple IS350 Fsports I saw had Bridgestone's on them, I personally would love to have Michelin's on the car, but if not I can always replace the Bridgestones with them once they are toast

The press cars are pre-production cars that are not fully loaded. Memory Seats are part of the Memory Package: Power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel Outside mirrors with auto tilt-down in reverse Lexus Memory System for driver’s seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel

I'm not sure how you can judge the audio quality of a car from a Youtube Video. It sounds great in person. The ML is the same system from the 2021 model. , 1,800-watt Premium Surround Sound Audio System with Quantum Logic®.

Bridgestone is the main supplier for IS right now. There is a supply chain shortage with Michelin tires nationwide. If you go to your local Costco, Discount Tire or etc, you won't find a lot of Michelin models available at the moment. This applies to OE supplied tires as well.

I am not an audiophile, but the clarity I heard was more than enough for me. I think sound checks on YT are quite helpful to warrant investigation. 😎

Some information has been added to TIS for the IS 500.

Chassis code: USE30
Model: USE30L-BEZLHA
Engine: 2UR-GSE
Transmission: AA80E
Front/Rear Weight Dist.: 56/44 %
Differential: Torsen T2 with 3.13:1
Front fender liner and extension is different to provide more airflow to the front brakes
Front chassis damper is deleted, but rear chassis damper is added
Brakes lifted from RC/GS F-Sport

So yeah, not much to talk about, as expected. It's a 3IS with a 2UR... which is pretty good, I reckon.
