i think the dealers really ought to be careful with "market adjustments". a big part of lexus popularity has always been the dealer experience. the quickest way to throw away a big chunk of goodwill is to start gouging customers.

My dealer also confirmed this, plus about 2k shipping and PDI.

A little over 30 hours till the embargo lifts! looking like a leak of the price is likely not going to happen for the United States

Same here! Excited yet nervous to finally see how they priced it, I honestly don't want any other car out currently it ticks all the boxes for me

drove my 2nd grader to soccer practice today and spotted the rear end of (what must have been) a white ‘21 is300/350 disappear into the fold of traffic. Red horizontal crossbar tail light and everything. I looked down and saw two double tail pipes. But then I squinted and they became singles. I have astigmatism, so it happens. I almost sh1+ myself though. Yes, getting very excited.

Was it wishful seeing?

The finance rates are pretty decent (especially when you apply the loyalty rate discount) but the lease rates are not good at all, although the residuals will be high but still...I won't be leasing this one, I'll be doing a purchase

^^ I didn't ask the residual/buyout value because I wasn't interested in a lease at 5%; Keep in mind that in Canada, things are different and we don't have these "money factor" thingy

I never leased any car, always bought them. Probably gonna replace my 2018 350 for one, I should be able to clear about 30-35k from my 2018 as a downpayment on the new one.

^^ Another reason I want to buy this one is I am hoping/planning to keep this for a long while. Where I only put about 5 000km a year, in 5 years, I would only have about 25 000km without seeing a drop of rain or snow, so pretty much mint condition

My 2018 has 21k KM on it right now! But unfortunately though, it has to be my daily driver, so the new one, if it's an IS500, will see the rain and snow. But it's heated garage kept and washed often, so not that bad.

T-minus 8 hours to conjure up a good excuse to ditch tomorrow’s Teams meeting. I need that time to watch every 500 review! 😜
