Everthing adds up for TRUE price point perspective

The IS 500's price, which starts at $57,575 (including a $1,075 destination charge). If you select the Premium trim, which adds navigation, a Mark Levinson audio system, upgraded LED headlights, and a surround-view camera with front and rear parking sensors, the price jumps to $62,075.

maybe about $500 more for certain colors. A few hundred for floor mats and also $1100 more if you need a sunroof.

I don't know if memory package is included in Premium trim.

Sunroof is factored in the price already it is included on all, only thing missing is dealer handling fees and paint and port installed options. With premium paint and dealer handling fee a premium IS500 should be 62,525 then port added popular accessories on top. At the end of Kirk Krefels video he shows the listing for the price breakdown of the one he reviewed and what comes on it that’s upgraded from the base.

When it goes on sale this fall, the IS 500 will start at $62,075, including $1,075 for destination, Lexus confirmed Friday. The car only comes one way, and it's fully loaded, with features like 19-inch wheels, adaptive dampers, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, embedded navigation on a 10.3-inch central touchscreen and more.

It might even be $300 to $900 higher if you choose a non standard color and if dealer installs floor mats and cargo net, which they usually do.

Also if you need a sunroof that will tack on another $1100. Unless it's included in premium.. But I see no mention of it.. alot of reviews show the car without it

So realistically when they finally arrive the price might be somewhere between $62,500 and $64,100. AND IN SOME AREAS A MARKET ADJUSTMENT...

There is no options for the car as stated by Lexus it is mono build. You can’t add a sunroof as it is on the premium at least if not all of them and kirks had a sunroof on it m, so yes a premium will be 62525 with premium paint before mats and accessories. First pic is the price breakdown for the exact car he drove second is differences between all specs and moonroof is not shown as a cost on either cause it is factored into the price already for the premium at least. Second pic shows everything installed and moonroof is one of the standard features on it. The last part of the video he scrolls and it shows all standard options on the car and the sunroof is one of them

Probably 63k will be the average. Plus whatever the dealers mark up is after they buy them from the manufacturer.

Some of you guys are forgetting, most areas will order the car with the Preferred Accessory Package (Alloy Wheel Locks, Carpet Cargo Mat, Key Gloves, Rear Bumper Applique). Some will add all weather mats/liners, door edge guards, glass breakage sensor and 3M paint protection film kit for the front end. $63-64k for the Premium.

Yeah that's never going to happen, especially in these market conditions.

yeah. Prior to Covid you could easily knock off 10k. Unfortunately now it may be listed at 10k over MSRP...

Yup the popular accessories will be added on top of the price as almost all Lexus have them in some way shape or form. I would expect it to add at least another $500-1.5k depending on which one they add. If it’s the simple mat gloves bumper and door edge it will be on the lower end, P.F. and other will definitely be higher

No dealer will order a base model...someone would have to walk in and request it be ordered.
They will order what they think will most likely sell in their region, not to mention there will be more profit in an optioned vehicle for them, so why order the base.

Long story short...

Today a well equipped (if on the lot as Lexus is also NOW mpacted by the chip shortages)
2021 IS 350 F Sport fully loaded with DHP package and basic accessory rings the bell @ $56K

The "2022 IS 500 F Sport Performance Premium" will hit the show room floor at approx $64K

.. damn that's a long model name

The article that just came out said $61k for the "premium" version. Not the limited release that they're only doing 500 production run on. By the time you add the delivery fee...then it's up to $62k.

"$61,000 will get you the Premium edition, which adds 19-inch wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system."

For you folks who have sat in/driven both the IS and GS, is the IS really that much smaller that us GS folks are going to hate the IS? Obviously coming from a GX, I'm likely going to hate the IS. We'll see I guess.

There is no question the IS feels smaller/tighter than the GS however, I found the GS too big for me and felt the car controlled me rather than the other around - For me and my body type, the IS is perfect and would take an IS 500 any day over a GS F

I prefer the agility of a smaller sedan but I do like the roominess of the GS, and I'm pretty sure the 2017+ GS F handles better than this IS500.

^^ Because it has a longer wheel base? Because the new IS has been developed on the new track and you would think they would have fine tuned the handling and should be pretty good....
