Default IS500 Market Adjustment.

I know it’s kinda hard to answer this not knowing exact pricing yet. But how much over sticker would some of you guys pay for the IS500?

im guessing it’s prob 5 or 10k over. More for the launch edition obviously.

Many won’t and are willing to wait 6 months to a year for the hype to die down and pay sticker. Not asking you guys.

I voted for the 5K option, but honestly, ... guys... seriously ! Just wait a time and the price will align.
There will probably be some YoutubeSl_ts that will take 10k in their hand to publish their videos ahead of all others. It's sad but it's how the world is working nowadays.
So let those clowns ruin themselves for some internet fame, and the price will go to normal after a while.

I think the opposite would be true for a sporty car/gas chugging v8. i think there will be deep deep DEEP discounts on these. Cars are unpopular, this is already a 7 year old car, and gas is going way up, economy a bit uncertain.

Just look at the supras... massive up charge for the first 2-3 weeks then now nobody wants them.

I agree with E46CT, I think sticker is just right. But also, some actual numbers on MSRP would be great.

Negative value. I’ll be waiting for one that’s lightly used and depreciated.

i halfway agree with you, i think in the beginning or release there will certainly be a mark up or cars will be sold for msrp at its lowest point. after 1 or 2 years it will be under msrp. then towards the end of their cycle, deep deep discounts. (asssuming trends like the isf, rcf, gsf) I am speaking for california market

If there was a $0 option I would have voted.
Everywhere is different when it comes to pricing...where I am it's illegal to mark up the vehicle above the advertised price.
Let's assume the IS500 comes as one trim level (no option package) and the Lexus advertised price is $65K...that will be the price at every dealer...plus of course Sales Tax, PDS, Licensing, and Admin Fee.
If the dealer wants to sell it for less than advertised, they can certainly do that...but they can't just bump the price to $70K plus all the associated fees.
An no the Admin Fee isn't a hidden markup, it's just a few hundred bucks usually for all the paperwork processing.

I was told the same - They don't follow that practice of selling above MSRP and because I have purchased several vehicles from them, I am expecting a loyalty rebate too, that is if I decide to go with one. I don't NEED the V8 and part of me feel that the 350 has a more balanced design with the wheels and such. I am still reserving judgement until more info comes out

I think MSRP, it tastes a particular buyer to choose the IS500 over other options in the range. Once you have to Pay significant markup even loyal brand owners begin to cross shop.

One Dealer in town. No other Dealer within about a 1.5 hour drive.
I would vote $0 for this poll. No way would I pay over MSRP for this. And if they price it near $70k I may be out as well. Especially if I do not get to spec it.......

in USA market adjustments are common. It’s just what people are willing to pay.

interesting, I hope it doesn’t exceed 66. M340 full tilt is 66 and that’s with awd and much better tech.
