To expand further, like the GS F was longer then the RC F, companies reworked the axle section lengths or Tips in some cases to compensate…
Once you try to bolt up, you’ll see what I mean.. In your case, some customization may be required while companies still work on dedicated IS 500 exhaust systems..

Welcome to the Lexus Family!!! I 100% Echo your sentiments, my 1st Lexus was the 2014 IS350F-Sport but that's only because I couldnt find an ISF... so badly wanted that V8 w/ a Manual Tranny... but the RCF and GSF never appealed to me like the IS

That sounds about right. I was quoted $2300 from Texas to CA at one point. No dealerships in CA wanted to play ball with you?
Contacted 10 different dealerships in CA and they are all a joke! They are more interested in wasting time and playing games then actually making a sale - of course they all expect buyers to pay 30K over MSRP too . The East coast dealer was fantastic! No games, no hassles, amazingly quick to get the purchase done and at MSRP - no markup!

Congratulations. I experienced the same thing in Southern CA. There is one dealership not charging mark-ups or add-ons, and that's Longo Lexus in El Monte. However, their list is up to like 50+ people. I'm not surprised though, everybody in that area and their grandmothers drive an IS.
