Fun fact, when others used the app to check on their cars, I thought it was super cool! I did the same the night before my flight. Was able to verify, as promised, that no one else drove the car after my deposit was processed. I felt like things were 100% on the up-and-up afterwards.

::heehee:: I love this post, we didn’t have crap yet it didn’t stop us from posting daily! ::joking laugh:: I’m glad there’s others out there, because this forum kept a few of us sane. I couldn’t imagine navigating the car buying process in today’s weird market alone. Some of the normal rules no longer applied…

I had my app open all day when I left my car to get tinted. The guys did a good job and mileage didn’t change. No Kris Koos. Towards the end I saw my hood was popped and I thought they were just checking out the V8 but when I went to get my car they were actually starting to install the PPF. Miscommunication cause I told them I was still thinking about it, I stopped them just in time.

Finally was able to get my winter tires on and take the car for a spin! Man, that's no 350!! Never thought I'd feel this way! Although it's the "same car", it feels totally different than my 2018 350.
Need to hold myself, but it got some get go!!

Glad you're loving it. It's way different from a 350, even a 2021 IS 350 F Sport with Dynamic Handling Package. Just crossed 2,300 miles, completely trouble-free.

This whole thread is stickied up at the top of this forum but it's sole purpose is a Roll Call and Registry thread. The other threads in the main discussion are for other topics pertaining to the IS 500 F SPORT Performance, not here.

Carolina - CONGRATS on your IS 500 It was well worth teh wait and while it is a shade darker than your original desire of GW, the USB is incredible with amazing depth!! I guess the #bluecrew is getting bigger and bigger
I guess I have never officially signed my name to this registry so I guess I need to make my name official here too. My journey has been like a roller coaster ride and almost went off the rail but I owe a shout out also to Answer and Shoeboy to get me back on the rail and my white beast. I have to admit, and I ever thought I would say this, but I am so happy in teh way things unfolded as I now prefer the red interior over my white, words I never thought I would ever say. Don't get me wrong, white is amazing and very classic but the red really suits the 500, and especially against the brushed aluminum trims throughout the car. I am in love with the way this car looks (in person) and if I had a glass museum, I think I would just park it in there and just admire this amazing piece of art.
This as it being off loaded the truck in front of my driveway:
Then after having it detailed and just awaiting for it's inauguration trip...
