This post was meant as a reply to a post above listing $93k as the sales price in California (forgot to quote). That's so dumb -- Only in California I guess. Bought mine for $68k
There are other dealerships outside of California doing a market adjustment on the car. It's industry-wide right now with the current shortage of new cars with every manufacturer. You should see the markups on 2022 Tundra and high end luxury models like the G-Wagen and Escalade. Unreal.

So that was an eventful day. I called on 91 allocations today. Many were already sold and gone, or still on the way but pre-sold. Surprisingly found many still available sitting in the showroom.
No luck on #250. I did find some cool numbers, like #123, but it sold by the afternoon.
The glaring issue is that nobody knows what the number is until it arrives at the dealership, and by then it may already be pre-sold. Or otherwise likely already sold by the time I would call. And if I call one day too early (even one hour too early) before the car physically gets there, they still wont know what number they’re getting.
This is pretty insane and I may give up soon, but if anyone comes across #250, please feel free to DM me!
(I might be able to offer a car experience that would make it worth your while )

Congrats to everyone that has received theirs! Just in time for Christmas They look absolutely spectacular. Can’t wait to see one in person.
