All joking aside, need to be careful with these OEM tires. The fundamentals of a front-engine, rear-wheel drive car prevail, as they always have, even with all the electronic aids. I took the traction control off momentarily just to "test things out", and nearly lost the rear end going round a ramp even with what I thought was mild throttle. Can't imagine what would have happened had I pressed the kick-down pedal.

First post, First Lexus. Just picked up a 2023 Infared/White with the dark Enkei wheels. I was considering a 2024 Cloudburst/Black but this deal for a 2023 LCertified with 7.1K miles sort of fell into my lap and I could not pass it up. It is replacing a BMW F36 MSport and will be garaged next to a 2017 Admiral Blue Z06. Drove about 200 miles to pick it up and the drive back was awesome. I was surprised that the 200 miles back was at 28MPG (all highway). Granted, I did not really romp on it that much, but the flow of traffic was significantly higher than the speed limit.
Though I was looking for a cloudburst, I am digging this infrared mostly because, "Every ork knowz dat red wunz go fasta!"

Hello from Dallas
Hi everyone, super stoked to pick up my 2024 next Thursday. Infrared/Black with BBS wheels. The red w black interior was hard to find near me. Making the drive to Oklahoma (from Dallas) for pickup. Always wanted a V8 and have never owned a Lexus. As you all know, cars like this are a dying breed and I finally decided now was the time to make this happen. Very excited for the trip back and look forward to many years in this car
A bit about me; I'm an amateur track junkie and Dallas native (grew up in Boston and moved down this way three years back). Used to run HPDEs here in TX and back in the Northeast (where I am originally from) in an ND Mazda Miata. Wife forced me to sell the sports car when we built our home and have been stuck in SUV hell ever since. Very excited to be back in something fun. Planning to keep the car stock, may throw on a better set of summers once I wear out the original rears (which I'm sure won't take long).

Seems your car will be a clone of mine. (I also have Infrared with black interior and BBS wheels.)

I would just do what the owner's manual says when it comes to break-in procedure. For our cars, it's 1000 km (621 miles) of relatively-gentle driving.
