The Michelins are a little noisy at highway speeds. Although I really don’t notice it when i’m the only one in the car. When I have to drive more responsibly (e.g. With passengers), then I hear it.

I just raced a 2023 GSX-R1000 through two lights (manual & sport+) and dude couldn’t get past my front wheel! The PS4S’ hookup and stay hooked…so I’ll stick with these bad boys forever.

EDIT: I know the cycle info, because the dude told me at the light. He said: “What the hell?! That thing has some get-up-and-go!” I just laughed, because the Sleeper Game was strong!

That’ll do Lexus, that’ll do. 😈💪🏽

LOL. Classic. With passengers or when I'm too tired/not in the mood to do shenanigans.

As @DLPTony legal defense I feel obligated to add that the race was in a closed course racetrack

…I think that dude should’ve stuck with a GSX250R if he can’t pull past our cars … the liter Gixer hits 150mph in the quarter mile, maybe 4-5 production cars out there that can hang with that.

Still goes to show how capable our cars are in the real world. Best for me is dropping a couple gears on the highway then throwing the unsuspecting passengers back in their seats.

Which is why I think the story is being embellished, or the bike wasn't trying.

That’s the point of the post. As Jason Camisa basically said, don’t do a launch ‘magazine style’ and you’ll see just how quick this car really is.

I don’t embellish or have rose colored glasses. Dude was bitten by the Sleeper Snake, plain and simple. 😂😈 He definitely tried. 😎

BS, man. Your story makes no sense. That bike would have demolished you if the guy was trying. You may as well lie and claim you kept up with a Bugatti Veyron until 100 MPH.

I’m just telling what happened and the dude’s reaction at the next light. Don’t know what to tell ya… Don’t believe me, it’s not that serious. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The reaction in Spanish, right? Since it was in Mexico? 😉 Just add to the ignore list and move on with that one.

Right on. 😎👍🏽

Back to the subject at hand, I’m still sticking with Michelins. Went on a mountain run today and God those things are magic.

I was also reminded why the OE Bridgestones are "meh" at best. They felt a little squishy in the tight stuff. Honestly, for an OE tire, the performance they provide ain't half bad... but they are not good in the rain and don't inspire much confidence. It feels like a leap of faith the first time one dives into a corner with them.

It seems like our brand-new car here doesn’t have many options for A/S….got quoted for some bridgestone turanzas for a ridiculous price.

Anyone have A/S recommendations? Or am I being too scared to drive with my summers on?

Stay AWAY from ANY Bridgestone Turanza series tire. They’re downright awful. If you MUST (*sigh) go with an AS tire on such a beautiful and powerful car, The Michelin Pilot All Season 4 s pretty well the best you’ll find in the High Performance all season Category.

Lmfaoooo hahaha this is sooo great.

Got the wife a 2023 Kia Sportage and while I was at the dealership I looked at the 2023 Stinger. I was pretty impressed overall with the car especially the interior. The TT and AWD is nice for being in Canada here with snow. Nice blend of design, quality materials and craftsmanship. I caught myself whether I was ACTUALLY debating this car over the Lexus IS500. I snapped back to reality when I was like “how could I take this super expensive Korean heap of garbage that won’t last more than 5-10 years before the engine detonates, over a collector car with a 2UR-GSE, one of the best V8 engines ever created 😂. Walked out of there pretty quick shaking my head wondering if I had lost my marbles.

Glad you smoked him 😁
