Correct. You’ll see 3/10th OD and 3/10th SW increase, good for about 1.2% effective change. So little that the systems will barely comprehend this change, you can even see about a 1% change in accuracy on Speedo simply from large swings in tire pressure and temps during certain driving conditions due to internal inflation. At 60 mph you’d see about a 7/10ths of a mph change, not even noticeable or relevant at all. Rule of thumb is stay within 2% change for daily driving on public roads.

Why does a GR Corolla come with Michelins? But not our cars?

That would explain the roof rack. Since there's no back seat, they have to strap passengers into lawn chairs on the roof rack.

That's a performance car and ours is not, duuuuhhhhhh 😝

The Morizo edition not only comes with Michelin, but Sport Cup 2 tires. It's partly how it's so fast around a track, Cup tires can shave off a couple seconds.

I think Lexus and Bridgestone have an agreement. Also, the OE tires for our cars are made in Japan. So are our cars. So there's probably some cost-saving there.

Went with the Pilot Sport 4S after burning the Bridgestones up. Went with the OEM spec sizes for them. Acceleration traction, braking, and cornering all greatly improved. Wouldn't be surprised if a few milliseconds to 60 were knocked off but cannot confirm without a real comparison. No complaints other than the price lol. Highly recommend

Thanks! Good to know. These then should be my next set after the Bridgestones are done. If you're going to roam the streets with a 472 hp car, you should at the very least equip it with the best performing tires you can. Seems like an easy mod ($$ issue aside, lol).

Amen and it is! Ditching the Bridgestones is the best thing you can do for performance.

I liked this video for comparing those.

I haven't driven on the All-Season 4, but the PS4S feels a lot more responsive than pretty much anything else I've driven an IS on.

Absolutely fantastic video. The all-seasons seem like a great compromise for those who have the luxury of avoiding the heaviest days of the winter, or for those who live in a region that generally receives more milder winters with infrequent snowfall. But even if caught in a heavy snowstorm, with some care, seems the all seasons can carry you through in a pinch. Boy, those summer tires just fall off the cliff in steep nosedive once the temperature plummets and those first snowflakes touch the ground. What a disaster those are in <= 0 deg. Celsius. LOL. But I can only imagine the difference they make compared to the Bridgestones on hot, sticky pavement during the dog days of summer.

Hmm I’m not seeing that this tire comes in our size for the rears? Did you find them somewhere? I recently put a set of these on my GF’s car and they’re honestly great. But she does 0 spirited driving so it’s not much of a test
