IS500 Tire choices
#392
Just went with Pirelli P Zero All Season 3+. Upped front & back by 10mm over stock (245/40-19 front and 275/35-19 in back). So far huge upgrade in terms of handling and ride over the summer OEM tires. Haven’t tested out in bad weather but can’t imagine they’d be worse than stock.
Best part is only cost ~ $930 total installed after rebates and discounts from Simpletire.com.

I will get to try mine out in "bad" weather today. First rain going on right now. The rain part isn't bad, but the roads will be greasy now and traction will be limited. I'll hear sirens all morning long now...

May I ask what type of mileage are you getting out of the Michelin PS4S?
I just purchased an IS500 and the tires are going to need replaced shortly. This car will never see cold temperatures as it will be a summer vehicle only and was wondering if I should go Summer only for performance or all season for maybe longer wear time and less cost. I am leaning towards summer only but is the additional cost worth it for that option? Two front runners would either be the Michelin PS4S or the Continental Extreme Contact (Had on corvette and liked them) Or is there a good all season that performs well?
