Went and test drove a 2021 350 today. It was gray on black. Black interior is nice but I'm tired of black interiors. I'll be going white or red, I wish the glazed Carmel was available for the 500.

Saw a few atomic silver cars, and was very impressed by the color. Starting to think about atomic with a red interior.

Saw USB on an RX. Pics in this thread are a nice representation of it. When the sun hits it, it is a deep blue.

They had a 300 in grecian blue. It needs bright light to really be at its best. It is similar to Misano Blue from BMW (grecian is darker than has marina blue). The pics in this post are a pretty good representation of it: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...l#post10997155

Mine is Atomic Silver with Rioja Red interior, I think that color combo will absolutely give off a shimmering hue like no other in the Texas sun. It can change colors from looking like pure silver under LED lights, to a rich greyish-silver at noon, to a warm golden-silver at sunsets.

Grecian water reminds me of the b5 S4 nogaro blue, which I loved. Atomic kind of reminds me of the Porsche GT silver, which in photos doesn't look great but in person looks amazing

Off-topic, but yes, GT Silver is very similar! Here is a 981 Boxster S that I rented before in that color. Thankfully these photos show off the beige-ish tinge it has on a cloudy day.

I also like Grecian Water quite a bit. I think it is more classy than something like the blue you'd find on a Corolla hatch thanks to the metallic flakes in the paint, and fresher than Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0.

Just FYI I owned a USB IS500 for a whole 30 minutes and it had swirl marks like crazy.

So, when you bought it, it already had swirls? If so, that doesn't surprise me... When I got my 2020 GLI, it had swirls on day one as well. I didn't notice them while test-driving the car, and I suspect they were added when the car was "cleaned up" prior to delivery. A lot of new cars unfortunately have this problem.

USB just shows marks on the clear coat better and probably fades more too. It’s a sensitive paint. I looked at an atomic silver at the same time in the same light and it was much harder to see any swirl marks on the same panels.

That is why I love white cars so much, no swirl marks to be seen....

I have actively gone looking for swirls on my Iridium car and can't find any. However, sadly, the black mirror caps have some swirls. But yeah this is why I end up going for silver - it hides both dirt and minor imperfections in the paint really well.

^^ I had some very faint swirl marks on my mirror caps too and I have used Mother's Step 2 and they go away instantly.....Just in case you didn't think to try that

USB is gorgeous. Grecian meh. But yes all personal preference. Grecian looks like a flat paint?

Hands down USB 2.0 hits WAY different in all lighting conditions. Enjoy!

Thanks to everyone that posted comparisons.

I told the dealer I would take grecian on white, USB on white, or Atomic on red.

Dealer emailed me today to let me know that they secured an IS500 Premium in Atomic on red. Should be at the dealership around March.
