Default Pic Request: Grecian Water vs. Ultrasonic Blue

I can't find any good comparison (side-by-side) pics of Grecian Water and USB. I know USB will be darker, but trying to figure out how much darker. Anyone have any?

^^ We haven't seen any side by side, at least I haven't but you will see many of the GW in youtube videos because it was one of the press cars and there are a few USB pics posted here, and even in the picture section. For what it's worth, there are some rumors floating around that the GW will not be offered although I can't confirm that rumor.

That's a tough one. This is Grecian Water:

USB 2.0 is a lot darker:

That grecian water is so icy, I would love to get my future car wrapped in that color if I could. Can't go wrong with that Nardo grey looking color either

I'm coming from the BMW world. Current whip is a 335is. From what I've seen Grecian Water looks like a slightly darker version of Yas Marina Blue and USB looks like San Marino Blue. But would like to see both side by side.

Currently lusting over the IS 500.

...There are a few of us like that here (lol) - You will find that several forum members have a dislike for the GW, but personally, I don't have any objection to it at all. I just don't know if it will remain available based on the rumors floating around. That being said, the USB has an incredible depth and looks amazing!! IMO, you can't go wrong with with either color although as of late, between the two, I am starting to tip a bit more on the USB....

In the photos Flipside posted, Grecian water looks better, but that's only because it's a better photo.

I like the Grecian Water more just because it's newer. It pops on this generation IS.

I agree, but honestly, I'd have a hard time deciding between the two. I'd probably take whichever one was available near me unless I was custom-ordering, in which case I might go USB Mica 2.0 since it's just a little more of a timeless color.

^^ I agree, both colors are amazing!! A forum member (ISSAV8) has made a really good point and have noticed that after she brought this to my attention, GW looks better on non-bright sunny days and that is where I feel USB shines!! Maybe have one of each?!?

The Grecian water looks like the M blue color which looks amazing. Ultrasonic Blue is nice too but the Grecian is more unique atm I feel

Basically, Lexus copied the M from BMW and the Nardo Grey from Audi.. literally the best colors on the market right now in terms of car paint

Disagree. Is Nardo nice.. sure, but it’s WAY overplayed now. Everybody from Honda to Hyundai to GM has that color now, not to mention all the wraps. Nothing special anymore.

As soon as the Civic did it, it became so uncool.

Big bright blue fan here. I’ve had a G35, TSX, 3 series and our current Macan in similar shades. I highly prefer usb. Here is a shot of Vortex blue vs USB. The difference in darkness is pretty similar.

As for the BMW comparison earlier, I would agree with yas vs San Marino. And neither is as sharp as Estoril or my fave Portimao.

The Vortex blue is kinda similar to Portimao, but perhaps a little less saturated. I love Portimao Blue... my wife's car catches my eye all the time. Ultrasonic Blue doesn't quite have that level of "pop" unfortunately, but it is also a bit less shouty, which is good.
