Maybe I am just old, or just cheap, but I can't see myself spending a couple of thousand dollars to produce a sound for the outside (and others to hear) when the induction noise is already more than adequate for me....
Exhausts are part of a cars performance, as it usually reduces back pressure and adds a tiny bit of HP too. The sound is just a cool result.

Haha yeah, it is more than we all need. But I also understand the case for aftermarket exhausts. One minor critique about the IS500 is that the sound throughout the car is unbalanced, meaning that although the V8 is gloriously loud, all the sound is in the engine and none from the exhaust. If you love the loudness of the huge V8, why not balance it with an aftermarket exhaust? That's what it's all about here.

I'll have to wait until I have some seat time to give my opinion. But, after having owned many, many V8 (and one V10) cars I can say that just the right amount of added exhaust burble in the cabin adds immense pleasure to my driving experience.
I'm on the fence of picking this up (dry filter) along w/ the RR Racing intake...unless the Joe Z intake pipe fits the is5. surprised that there's not more responses on this...although it's just a filter
We had a few things going on yesterday in the shop.
A very generous customer brought his car in from Baltimore so we can take a look. We were able to confirm fitment of our Chassis Brace which was really exciting. It's a great fit. The suspension will cross over and we already know the heat shield and AOS work. We also did a mock up on a Bazooka that we had here for another RCF. We didn't confirm it fits but it's real close. We'll be able to perfect that when we have our own car in here soon.
Anyone knows what happened to the black caps that were on each shock tower? Also, how about the electronics that were hidden/sealed under each black cap?

you have to remove the dust covers (the black caps) to add any strut tower bar. you can still see the wire conduit/tube and rubber gasket next to the tower bar...it's to the right of the tower bar connector.

Pretty easy install, but it would be nice to have a slot to connect the cable that is under the original dust covers. It would look cleaner.
