That Mustang did sound amazing. I actually was surprised how much of a difference there was between launching the cars and the roll races. The IS 500 is quick off the line or if it's in the right gear!

Then again, Lexus has always had a low mph in these cars in the 1/4 mile given their power. They seem to have more drivetrain loss, they also dyno lower too.

I still don't understand all the people who use drag racing daily drive able cars as some kind of metric for if a car is good or not. I knew 100% going into buying this car that it was slower than almost all it's competitors. It's hypocritical of anyone not driving a model 3 performance to talk crap because a car isn't faster in a straight line drag race. Because dollar to dollar the Tesla is the fastest out of all the cars in this segment. But I like the way this car drives and how comfortable I am in the interior. The stinger didn't feel all that great when I checked it out. Even the G20 interior didn't feel as good as my F30 did, which is why I really didn't end up getting one. All this new tech, but a more hollow feel to all the plastic parts.

It's just a race, nobody is saying the car isn't good. At least I'm not saying that. I wouldn't have bought one if I thought so.
