I seriously dig this guy. His conversion from Bimmer fandom to Lexus is an interesting story to watch.

In this latest video, it’s based on the LC, but the IS 500 has quite the cameo.

NOTE: You have to watch it on YT.

My entire family and I went out to a fancy dinner last night, something I rarely do, courtesy of a generous benefactor. This place was insane. I'm talking resort villa for $3000/night (looked it up afterward) tucked deep in the woods of San Diego's most expensive zip code. Bentleys used as courtesy rentals. I felt like poorest guy there, that is, until I pulled up to the valet in my IS500. LOL, aw yeah. The backroads getting there were fun but I took it easy on the way home since I didn't want my guests to throw up. It was nice to hear the engine roar when the valet turned on the ignition. I never noticed how great it sounds on the outside.

It was funny rolling up to the resort. Gate attendant didn’t even bother to talk to me, just smiled and waved and opened the gate before I ever had to stop. Inside, one dad waved at me as he and his family walked by. It wasn’t like a “thanks for letting us cross the street wave either.” More like “how you doin”? People are super friendly and chill there but I’m sure the car didn’t hurt either haha. I’ve never had a nice car like this (CT doesn’t really count), it is interesting...

You can tell by the lack of memory seat buttons on the drivers handle.
