my opinions on his 5 dislikes lol...
- the IS never had power folding mirrors in North American market which sucks but it is what it is, they do have it in some other markets, I guess maybe due to other markets have tighter roads and places to park
- the rear door keyless entry, they never had it and will never come in the future on a IS, you have to move up to higher model to get rear door keyless entry but u can unlock all doors with app or remote anyways so it doesn't really bother me
- the brake caliper colors are available in other colors in Japan just not here, but i like it black it keeps it stealthy.
- don't want the 500 to be available in awd cuz this keeps it special, and if it was available in awd the stupid hump will be right by your leg lol...

I agree with your responses, but it was only four. Never watched the video. None of these reviewer people are truly qualified to do what they do (save the official magazines, i.e. car and driver, motor trend, etc). Some are way better than others, but it is still less than a standard skill! Since I agree with your four responses, I was curious about the fifth? Thank you

^^^ I was just about to come post that one! LOL
Pretty positive over all I'd say, but another "meh" 0-60 run. I found some other comparisons he did real quick.
CT4VB did it in 4.5 sec
Charger Scat Pack did it in 4.67 sec (on a different road)
High HP cars:
CT5VB - 3.95 sec
807hp Hellcat - 4.57 sec, spinnin' ain't winnin' LOL
MB GT63 - 2.91 sec
M5 Comp - 3.05 sec
M3 Comp - 3.32 sec
AWD sure dominates on the street...
I feel like I always get used to the speed of my car and want MOAR MOAR MOAR, then I remember how great this car is with everything else too. It really is a "Jack of all trades" type car. Not the best at one single thing, but really damn good at everything.
Edit - He actually bought a CT5VB and he just uploaded a video of the car breaking at 1500 miles. Lexus reliability reminder!

It really does. Even my BMW 330i xdrive, which is AWD, plants and hooks really, really well from a standstill. Can do low 5s 0-60 easy.
The IS500 bit harder to hook, but once you do, it's an exhilarating sprint with a soundtrack that is second to none. 50 years from now little kids will go to Wikipedia (or the equivalent at that time), and click "press here to hear what an internal combustion engine sounded like back in the day" and the Lexus V8 soundtrack will play.

And now, possibly the most out-of-touch, privileged review I have ever seen of this car.
First off, he complains it's not an F car. OK, but it also isn't priced like one and isn't even advertised as one. Secondly, he complains it's not "sports car" enough. Um, excuse me? Is this not a four-door sedan? Sports-car, to me, means Supra. It means Z. It means Boxster or F-Type. It means tiny two-seater. Finally he again says it's not enough sports-car for the money. Again, what are we comparing it to? For the money, you get the M340i, an AMG C 43, an Audi S4/S5... Maybe you could say it's not enough in comparison to the CT4-V Blackwing, but he doesn't mention any of these cars by name, just saying it's not enough. He goes as far as to say there is no driving fun. That is a load of barnacles, and he knows it - just like the Car Care Nut, he is salty it's not an F. Not everything is about you, my guy.
