20 bucks I already know exactly what he's going to say word for word. "But first - Let's talk about what's going on here. Lexus..." All his reviews are exactly the same. You could literally take the entire audio from any of his videos, and slap it onto another one of his videos, and nobody would know the difference.

The behind-the-scenes footage is pretty cool.

I still enjoy lots of the videos even though some people do ding the car for this and that, I've noticed that people tend to take any negative or comparison comments to heart and do legit get offended in the same way people might about politics, even more so the truck guys doing the chevy vs dodge vs ford dance that never ends. So far over time I have found Savage geese to be my favorite reviewer out of the bunch, Doug has cool videos as he really dives into the cars, but I do not like how he strays away from topics like long term reliability and cost of ownership and sounds like he is trying to please the entire audience at points and stray away from those topics, granted he does trash the BMW M5 and a few other models, I found his review on the GSF focused to much on what the Germans where selling as a competitor for the price while not really diving into how unreliable they will be after 60k miles, but hey some people got money to burn and never really liked to own their cars, they just lease and dump like a celebrity marriage knowing in the bottom of their hearts they were going to use her to lose her. These are cars you OWN and hope to keep 15-20 years or more, I would love to have a 3.4 sec 0-60 twin turbo sedan but do I want to OWN one? Not at all. I do love the random reviewers though that just own the car, don't know how to really do a solid car review but end up making a fun to watch clip anyway like this dude in the middle of nowhere.

Guilty. I’ll get offended when a reviewer or commenter says something out of their a$$es. 🤣 E.g. That Sam Champion guy who said the IS500 ‘had no soul.’ 🙄

I had a field day with that one. 😜😈

There are a quite few videos out there where the guy performs another review a year or so later, and comes back with a more favourable opinion. I agree with this guy that the car is "under tire'd" if I spelled that correctly. Could use wider tires both up front and back.

LOL. If the IS500 has no soul, then what would you say about an M340i (it's main competitor) ? LOL. Emotionless, flatline stone cold, charismaless, personalityless? LOL . Dont get me wrong, the M340 is a fantastic car, and blows the IS500 out of the water in most performance metrics, but using the argument that the IS500 has no character , especially when compared to the bimmer, is utterly ridiculous. And BTW, I own a bimmer as well. That Sam guy seems to have some axe to grind with the IS500. I think he got duped on what he paid (and then sold) and is mad now. LOL .

2023 Lexus IS500 Review - Hopelessly Outdated? (youtube.com)
Another 180’er. Both he and his buddy trashed the 500 initially. The buddy wanted to purchase this or the M340i, decided on the Bimmer, but ended up with another car I can’t remember at the moment. Zygrene made a few mea culpa statements in his IS500 vs ISF review, now this offering. Welcome to the party men, better late than never. 😎

Side note, went to my first car meet of the season and there were FIVE IS500’s in attendance! It. Was. Awesome. 🔥

My thoughts exactly! First off every car has a soul, it may not speak to you, but it doesn’t mean it’s devoid of one.

He definitely has an axe to grind, didn’t think about the money angle. 🤔 No matter, he can keep his erroneous thoughts to himself. 😂

Yeah Jubbal ended up in a CX-50. Yes, you read that right. A Mazda CUV instead of a BMW or Lexus sport sedan. Why? He thought he might have a dog.

I'll give you one guess as to whether he has a dog.

I saw his follow-up review, and it honestly didn't change as much as Zygrene's did. He still seemed to think the Lexus was too soft, etc.

It's all about the clicks and ad revenue!

I feel as though the vast majority of these youtubers have ZERO qualifications to evaluate vehicles. Just trying to make a buck and regurgitate what they've read/heard elsewhere. I pretty much quit watching 90% of them.

I don't have much to show from the photo shoot yet, but I have this! Can't wait for more stuff to be released.
