I wonder if changing bushings and wheels/tires would have much of an effect... I seem to remember the first time I drove a 2015 IS 350 it had heavy steering thanks to its tires being almost-bald summer tires.
I also think my 2021 has heavier steering than my 2016 IS 300 had, but it's hard to say for sure. Feel wise, yeah it could be better.

Don’t know why Toyota/Lexus throw the towel in when selecting the OEM tires …even on old 4Runners and GXs I’ve noticed huge improvements in ride quality, road noise, and steering feel once I replaced the OEM tires with the consensus best replacement option (usually using tirerack.com user reviews as a barometer).
Another potential area for improvement is to upsize the width of the tire. Years ago went from 245s to 275s on my GX and it completely transformed how the car felt. Hopefully can squeeze 245s up front and 275s in rear on the OEM Enkei wheels.

^^ When you say the OEM tires are bad, you mean as far as handling and grip? I am far from a tire expert and I have never kept my Lexus long enough to ever buy replacement tires so I have always been running the Bridgestone Turenza on my IS/RC 350 and now, these summer tires.
From my limited driving so far, I find them to be decently quiet, smooth and such but I don't drive mine aggressively so that could be why I am not so against the OEM tires. The one thing I hate about summer tires are their limited thread life and for how I drive my car, I am wondering if I truly need such sticky tires with short thread life or should consider doing something else. Haven't decided yet

Agreed, they're decent tires. They don't feel super sporty, but they have nice grip. My only gripe with them is road noise - they're noticeably noisier than even the run flats on my wife's BMW. But I'll say for an OE tire on a Lexus, they're great. They actually suit the car well.
When I floor it off the line, the tires lose grip. This never happened with my Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’. Fold in the quietness and stickier stability in the corners and you realize the Bridgestones aren’t as good. (In my opinion.) A positive, at highway speeds the tires are surefooted.
I’m trying to hold out for the Pilot Sport 5S’ that are due to be released soon.

Ugh…they’re okay. I don’t want to disrespect them, because they occupy the space between me and the road. 😜

Keep in mind, the PS5 is a direct replacement for the PS4, NOT the PS4S. There will likely be a PS5S.

I know the PS5 replaces the PS4, but my post referenced the 5S. I’ve only found one article about the tire coming, all the rest are on the PS5. I hoped they’d be available this Summer, but it doesn’t look like it. So it might be a 4S June purchase!

also Tony do you think you’d add some wider rubber? Like 275’s on back?

I thought modifications prohibited cars from being L/Certified but I guess not. Kenny straight up admits they mark up Certified cars in the comments section. Lol ballsy!
