Yes I don't plan on using my car as a DD during the winters I have a SUV for that.

I saw on the Lexus website that the LE came with all seasons. Is that correct? Seemed odd getting BBS wheels but all season. Maybe they didn't want to have different tires for US and Canada.

I'm not sure what you're asking. I will be installing the Continental ContiWinterContact TS830P tomorrow.

It comes with the Torsen limited slip, so you will find it can function a lot better in the snow than a RWD IS with the open differential. Proper tires would be the only issue. All cars require extreme care when it's below freezing.

Quick update - I've had the IS500 for 3 weeks now and last night was another snow dump here.
I can confirm that it handles perfectly fine with the Continental winter tires... Snow mode, traction and stability aids with LSD make for a safe and controlled drive.

With studded tires or just good winter tires, the car is pretty impressive.

I pretty much always had Blizzaks on all my car for winter, was thinking about still going for them in 235/45-18 size all around. They are on the softer side, but should be a good compromise. We get pretty bad winters up here.

I've had Blizzaks on a few cars and liked them. Only reason I didn't get them on my IS500 is because I wanted studded tires this time.

I took delivery yesterday in one of the worst freezing rain showers I've seen in the last few years. Drove her home a solid 30 kms with no issues whatseover. I am on Michelin X-Ice 18s with winter wheels.

Please provide details.

What color combo?

How much over MSRP?

Any extras?

Which dealer?

Thanks and congratulations.
