Remove badges for PPF on new IS500?

My installer took the factory badges off and then reapplied them with adhesive. Looks fine to me. Worst case.. you get new badges delivered to your house later. My opinion is don’t cut around the badges. Looks like **** up close. And eventually dirt and brake dust will build up on the edges.
Only the front end got done to due time restraint. But I’m just removing the rear badge all together. Less cut lines the better
I also have a gt4 with 6 year old ppf that’s perfect. Granted it only has 7k miles

Remove the badges, cutting around is sloppy. Be happy you have a really good installer. Keep in mind the F badge on my GS was destroyed in the adhesive remover bath - it stripped the paint on the badges and the installer had to order new ones. Just tell them to be careful with chemicals when stripping the old adhesive off the badge.
