Aesthetically, these things are stunningly beautiful!! 🤩 😍

Closed, the tone under load is too raspy, but open the drone would get to me. Geez…I’m going to be the only Stock Papi in this joint! 🫣😆

@DLPTony
i think you would really like the apexi resonated midpipe with oem mufflers. no drone at all, but really opens up when you get on it

Agreed. Phillip was nice enough to let me get in his car and give it some revs. At idle, it sounds stock, but I did notice a little more growl when I was revving it!

Completely agree with this. Beating a dead horse but “that’s how it should’ve sounded in the first place” is completely true with the Apexi resonated midpipe. Outside it adds a light V8 rumble and inside it’s about as loud as things are with ASC set to max on a stock exhaust.

We have Apexi midpipes both resonated/ unresonated in stock. + axle backs.

Hard to deny the thrice yeahs! 😎 Maybe at the next meet, Phillip can take me around the block. @arentz07 does this mean you’re getting it too?

Lol! Let's do it. Just need to get the next one scheduled. I'll be there! Although, if I'm being honest, I kinda wish I had gotten a non-resonated midpipe... Kyle let me listen to his custom non-resonated and it sounded amazing! As someone else mentioned on this thread, the "perfect" exhaust note is very much in the ear of the beholder...

Tony, I'd be happy to let you drive mine if you want to get a feel for the sound of a non-resonated one to compare against.

Philip, thank you for the compliment. Took me a lot of video watching to decide on a path and so far very happy with how it's turned out. If money was no object I'd love do have a valved muffler setup behind it that was capable of going a bit louder than what it is now every once in a while, but it's perfect for a daily driver without valves.

Deal! I let Alex drive mine back in 2022 and he bought a 2023 soon thereafter. So turnabout is fair play. 😎👍🏽

Suggestion for next meet up- we do the line up again and repeat video with sound form both outside, behind vehicles and one from the inside, with the windows closed. On video, the OEM exhaust sounds pretty loud at full throttle from the outside but a bit too quiet for all of us from the inside. Also, on the video it did seem that many of the exhausts sounded pretty similar. In person, to my ear, there was a lot more variety of sound (tone and intensity) in the various configurations. And I only heard those from the outside. Would be very curious to hear from inside (in person and also with video for comparison).

This suggestion would hold for meet ups in other towns as well - just share with the group!
