Darn, was thinking it'd pair nicely with the GTHaus midpipe I already have.

I'm not patient! lol!
Just pulled the trigger on the Revel RC-F axleback, I guess I'll see how it goes! Seeing Civib2 fitted the whole Invidia catback, I guess the axleback should fit.

out of curiosity, how different is the pipe routing for between the is350 and is500? @Meraki Autoworks is there any way you can confirm? it looks like the RC F cat back systems route almost the same as the is500 with minor hanger adjustments. waiting to see how some of these installs go with some of these latest purchases from our members...staying tuned in...

Let me ask some of the manufacturers..

I know the IS350 and IS500 have different midpipes though, let me find out what is different about it.

Thanks @Meraki Autoworks I specifically meant the routing of the axle back pipes. I'm sure the mid pipes between the 350 and 500's are going to be off. just the the axle back piping and maybe even the angles of the flanges.

TBH, I'm pretty sure the axleback part is pretty much the same on all the RC's and IS's, only the tips and hangers placement being a bit different. I've seen RC350 owner's get RCF axlebacks and the RC350 also fits the IS.
I'll be able to confirm the RC-F axleback fits in 1-2 weeks.

Are you using the resonated or non resonated apexi midpipe? Curious as to thoughts on the resonated one by itself and paired with a different axle back

I bought the non resonated pipe. the resonated pipes will just be a little quieter no matter what axle back it's mated with.

Answer - I will need to do that trip and visit you when you have it on so I can hear it in person - Dang you, now I'll likely get the itch to upgrade my exhaust

The flanges, length and hanger locations are different.

Will you be getting a mid pipe or are you just getting an axle back system? There's another member that has a thread and installed an invidia cat back; although they had to mod the mid pipe as it was short. but the fact that the mid pipe was also invidia the axle back piping mated with no issues. the member also said that they didn't mod any of the hangers but just purchased 1/4" long rubber exh isolators (the rubber parts the hangers go through) to solve the exh pipe being too close to the rear diffuser. as soon as you confirm the axle back mates with the stock or is500 specific aftermarket mid pipe, I'm pushing the button on an axle RCF exh. can't wait...thanks!

Only going axleback. The IS500 midpipe is known to be roughly 3in longer than the RCF midpipe, hence the extensions needed.
I should get it in 10-ish days, I'll let you know the outcome for sure! (and wthrman2 also, with a sound clip to totally tease him if it fits!!!)
