Very interesting to hear that it drones, are you in Socal or Norcal?

that is strange, it’s right around 1800-2000 rpm’s where it almost sounds like a it buzzes if you stay in that band while accelerating. Other than that sounds great. Ordered the apexi mid pipe too. To see how it sounds with that. And if it’s still bad might just swap the oem axle back back on with the apexi mid pipe

curious if there is an internal difference in the mufflers from the rcf to is500 specific axle backs.

Custom mandrel-bent, non-res midpipe with x-pipe. $700 cash at a local exhaust shop. They had a sick air-cooled Porsche with the bumper off and some crazy exhaust, an LC500 from the dealer, and a couple of amateur race cars parked in the lot—I figured they knew what they were doing.
If it sounds faint, that’s cause it is. Very low sound that diminishes as revs increase. Most sound actually comes below 3k or so. It really is comparable to what you get from the OEM F Sport Performance Exhaust on the IS 350. Definitely louder on cold start but that goes down once warmed up.
