So I put 2740 miles Round Trip from Austin to Chicago and back. Had some rain in Chicago and had to take a picture as this car looks so good...
On early Sunday morning packing the car for the return trip to Austin I noticed one of the local Martians was posing on the hood of my car...
This car peaked at 27.5 mpg but seemed to be happy at mid to upper 26 mpg most of the time with the 70-80 mph average.
On the way back I stopped at a Portillo's just north of Dallas in a suburb called The Colony. It turns out it is less than a mile from Toyota North America HQ in Plano which I had been to 6 years ago. After passing by I went home and did my best to avoid some very bad thunderstorm action/hail. We had an incredible lightning show for hours. I did have to pull over off the highway near Waco as the highway was full of standing water and I could barely see in front of me. I was also unsure if I heard a couple pings of hail so i decided to pull over to check the radar. Thankfully I don't see anything so it looks like I avoided the worst of it all.
All in all my wife and I say best road trip vehicle we have owned.

When I first the silver Enkei's I had mixed feelings, but now I think they give certain exterior colours like USB/Infrared/etc a great contrast. Not that im complaining about the darker ones (but this is as dark as I think I'd wanna go with this particular exterior colour):

Some highlights from the mountain run yesterday with Southern Lexus and friends. Shoutout to @DLPTony for being the third IS 500 in a grouping of Molten Pearl, Infrared, and Ultrasonic Blue! Also, there was a super rare RC F Fuji, which is always a treat to see. Great time!
