Which is SUPER helpful when trying to decide if a regular incognito vs a launch edition is coming down the road.

I was reminded that all 2024s had the black caps.

Today's mountain drive with @DLPTony and the gang was fun! It looked cloudy, but I don't think we saw more than a few drops of rain the whole time, and the roads were mostly free of slow garbage trucks. Mostly. The new tires felt pretty good, too!

Maaaan…that Sanitation Specialist was GET’N IT!! 😂🥰🤣

That dude did better than EVERY mini van and SUV we’ve encountered up there. He clearly knew that on weekend mornings, he needs to scoot. 😎

I am so envious of you guys...wish there was enough IS owners here to do such road trips! That seems so enjoyable...minus the dump trucks

^^ Where I live (Motor City) its literally all domestics. Seeing a IS500, let alone ISF, GSF & RCF is such a rare occurrence. This was fall '22 when I had the LE.

::heehee:: I’ve hit up the same mountains with another group of mostly Bimmers and Porsches. Where the Lexus group kindly asks folks to press the right pedal a bit more, the Bimmers and Porsches ride tails and/or cross solid lines.

The insane speeds are freaking awesome, but those dudes are crazy. Much rather stick with my own! 🫣😜

We are incredibly lucky that Georgia has a huge car community. Fun fact, several manufacturers have their American corporate offices here and it probably helps to juice the inventory. Our car group has a great bunch of guys and gals. The IS owners are more into the mountain drives than the other models in the group, because we’re menaces. 😉

I won't say where I work, but... I overheard someone in sales talking about how they thought it was funny that they were about to show up to Mercedes-Benz to discuss a deal... in their BMW.

And I think Porsche NA is also here (along with their Performance Center which I totally want to visit).

They are and that performance center off of I-75/85 South (I believe) is massive!

Hell….BMW might as well be Georgia based, they’re right across the border into South Carolina. 😎

Met up with Mike F, who brought out the MP IS 500 and Dhilan, with his IS 350, from the local club and took some photos. Credit to our friend CJ for suggesting that parking garage and lining us up lol. It was fun hanging out.

The Molten Pearl IS 500 here is the same one used for hotlaps at Sebring last weekend! That's why it's got the wing, the springs, and the stickers. It's done some track miles with Lexus Racing, and you can tell because the tires are toast. They were gnarly.

I had some temporary work I was doing at Mercedes-Benz HQ in Atlanta and had my Lexus GS350 there, no big deal...only the employees drive MBs because they get a good deal. It was neat seeing some concept, performance (GTs), ultra luxury (Maybach), the Mercedes used in the Batman movie and even the Project 1 car. Super cool!

Those lucky (insert jealous connotation here) and their connections to get the RCF track wing. Why can't we get an aftermarket one that's similar or close. I know we'd have to get a new trunk or fill the holes from the step spoiler. but still, I'd do it.
