My last two Lexuses came with partial installs, basically clear bras. A lot of folks hated the line across the hood, because grime would get trapped in it. My cars are normally washed once a week, sometimes twice, so that was never a problem.
I kinda chuckled at the ‘threat of divorce’. I think that window is in your 40s. Get it too early and there’s a question of responsibility, get it too late and folks will see a mid-life crisis situation. 😜
Vishal had a ton of Porsches and classic M3’s in the shop. I was never a Porsche fan, but the Cayman really speaks to me year after year.
Amen. On my 2016, something hit my right fender. The car and paint were fine, but the PPF was clearly damaged. It took about 4 months for it to heal. I think if the car sat outside more, the heat would’ve facilitated a faster repair. And that was dealer grade!
So yeah, I was a total convert in favor of the PPF afterwards. Bumper, Hood, Lights, A-Pillars, Rocker Panels, and the area right behind the rear tires is the minimum.
Had a rock chip filled in my 2016 and hated it. The mark was still there, which drove me insane. If it ever happens again, total replacement.

I'm glad I did, some small debris hit my car the other day and there are some spots on the ppf now that have some damage as well as a really tiny chip on the windshield which makes me super sad. But it's like a chip out of the windshield and not a crack so it's actually not all that visible.

Great Combo DLPTony. Expel PPF and 2 coats of the Ceramic, it will POP with reflection and protect it a bit as well. Works well. NJOY. Great Pics guys.

I had some little ones he wanted gone and I totally agreed.
I drove the car from OKC to ATL and a whole month of driving in the city. With the amount of ongoing construction, a chip here and there was possible. Sucks it took me this long to find someone I liked.

Friend and his IS 500 LE on a cruise/photo shoot we had with the Lexus folks yesterday. Great cars, weather, and for sure, good company.
