The crevices of this car hold water better than some buckets! 😜

After I’ve dried it off, I’ll drive around the block and stop to get the stragglers. Someone on here said he used a leaf blower. 😂

I use a leaf blower but that’s to initially dry the entire car, not to spot drying or finish. But now that you mention it I bet you could blow it under the spoiler to disperse the pools.

If I don’t dry with the master blaster than the spoiler and the side mirrors love to hang on to water just to drip you to the loony bin lol

I use a leaf blower to get after the crevices. The side windows and gas cap love to collect water. As part of the dying process I open the trunk to get the last bits to drip out. Ready with the quick detailer and a towel.

I’m jealous you guys can use and store one. Not so in my building, but maybe Bezos has a super-mini battery powered one. 🤔🤔🤔

HA! HA! Do it, what’s the worst that could happen? Thrown in the pokey for indecent exposure? 😂😂

YEP! I live about 5 miles from the car wash. When I home I’ll knock out the front doors and the trunk/bumper area one last time.

Nothing like a newly washed car. (smile) By the way, Atomic Silver or Iridium? Hard to tell from photos sometimes. And what happened to the 'IS 500' badge? (smile)

Atomic Silver. I had it de-badged when I got the PPF installed. I prefer the clean look. And I did not like having the badges on the side.

My guess that I get an extra 0.07 mpg without the badges.

^^ LMAO - I may have to ride around with no briefs to shave an extra 0.5 MPG on mine (lol)

TBH - I was floored when you said Atomic Silver - I was 100 sure it was cloudburst from that pic!! The beauty of that color, it is magical from various angles and sunlight,

Funny, I thought it was Iridium. And I have an Iridium car!

Main difference between Iridium and Atomic Silver is that Iridium comes across as a neutral silver where Atomic has somewhat of a beige/khaki tint in the sun.

Agreed. I also own an Iridium 500 and I simply could not tell the difference based on the photo. Would be interesting to see a side by side...

Atomic silver changes a lot based on lighting. If it is overcast, it comes across as a more pure silver like iridium. But as soon as you give it a little but of light that is on the red end of the spectrum, the beige in it comes out. I really wanted Grecian Water, but I am enjoying how Atomic changes based on the lighting. Also nice to be understated. With no badges, I'm just another sedan and don't have to deal with people wanting to race me.

Well she finally made it! 60 days after the “projected delivery date” but none of that matters.

I took half a day off and put a hundred miles on it - the first day. I don’t know how you guys have the disciple to wait. I’ll hit my 621 miles by next weekend!!

Maybe better pics later, but I have to stop driving to take them so maybe not.

@DLPTony has been such a great sport and encourager during the wait. Thanks all - great group here.
