Maybe better pics later, but I have to stop driving to take them so maybe not.

@DLPTony has been such a great sport and encourager during the wait. Thanks all - great group here.

Oh my freaking goodness!!!

1. I am SUPER DUPER glad you were able to take delivery!

2. I don’t know about anyone else, but I love the ‘Oh My Goodness!’ exclamations after the inaugural drive. Confirms over and over that I’m not a silly fanboy. 😂😜

3. It’s settled, we are now #BlueLegion. 💙😈

I am so happy, because you’ve 100% deserve this!

it’s a tradition in my family to go find my oldest brothers back home , show them your new car- then they get a chance to drive it AS FAST AS IT WILL GO in the country around the old farm where I grew up in rural alabama.

My car was a big hit. The sound when she fires up brings a smile every single time.

3500 rpm is like a golden hour sunset. Fine. I may go sit in it again before I go to bed.

What a cool tradition! Because we all seem to share the same visceral reaction, Lexus clearly hit it out of the park by adding the 2UR-GSE & Yamaha components to the IS. I’m at 2300 miles and as I said to you earlier, I have made more ‘milk runs’ than I care to admit. 😉

Hahaha, I hear you, I keep finding reasons to go out. I work from home years prior to Covid-19 and I think I have come in the office more in the last 3 weeks :-).

Congrats and welcome to the blue team! I thought I would be getting more sleep than when I was waiting for my USB/red. Wrong!!!! I still can't get enough of it.

Those wheels are gorgeous on the atomic silver, it looks so elegant! Not so much on my USB (maybe just me), I am going to have it powder coated in dark gray.

@everone else
Be careful out there, it is month-end. Around me, cops are all over the place in the last 3 days trying to meet their quotas.

I should be upset that my Camry is out of commission, but I couldn't stay all that mad because it was a great excuse to use the IS 500 everyday.

I was supposed to wait until Monday to wash it, but I couldn’t stand it any longer. The streaks of pollen and grime drove me batcrap crazy.
