IS500 Picture Thread

^^ No one should ever need a reason to wash our cars!! (lol) I do a quick wipe after every single outing, I think macmaster is like me on that front.
Also, is it just me but when I saw you pic, I was like what kind of "pompon" hat are you wearing? I thought the water spot on the bottom right pic was a shadow of your head - I can't unsee it (lol) (nose and chin facing the right side of the image)

I did miss taking a picture of an infrared IS500 (my first color choice) when I was in Dubai, I was driving out of a parking lot out of Dubai Mall turning left and it was turning right. Probably some guy with lots of money to pay market adjustment and have it shipped over there. The only thing that went to my mind was, that could have been mine!

I used to use the California Car Duster on my old cars but stopped after I forgot it at my old apartment when I moved out. It’s a good thing though. Conventional wisdom says that overusing it can be bad for the clear coat. Even though its combo of microfiber and wax lifts dust, there’s still a chance to introduce swirl marks via friction of the brush and/or dust.
The truly BEST way to clean or dust a car safely is by using a surfactant like car wash soap or detailer. These have surfactants. Surfactants are polar molecules that will naturally pull dirt or dust away from the car’s surface and essentially envelope it in water by creating a micelle. The hydrophilic heads of the micelle interact with the water and the dirt can be rinsed off with water without any abrasion to the car. This is why nothing will ever beat good old soap and water.

Happy Monday!
Problem with early morning photo shoots, the clouds haven’t burned away yet. But I wouldn’t have gotten a clean shot otherwise. Oy. 😎

Hi,
Love your Logo lights or are they illuminated door sills? I'm from Canada, hard to find these things up here may I ask where you got your lights or have any suggestions for me? Much appreciated. Mydogboo

^^ Not saying that I dislike what you did, but I can just say that it it is not my cup of tea as I tend to keep things more OEM
