Hmm I think it's normal to have a "lip" on the rotor, but this is a little wider than I'm used to seeing. Other 500 owners seeing this?

It's probably fine, but wise to check. Nice photos.

The brake pad doesn't make contact with the rotor from top to bottom, there is a small space on top and bottom. The shiny part is just where the pad isn't making contact. Nothing to worry about.

I would imagine you wouldn't want that much pressure clamping on the very edge of a semi hollow disc. Just a guess, not totally sure.

I’ll check my rotors when it’s sunny out. It’s raining today and the parking garage will cast weird shadows.

Spoke to my sales rep yesterday, said they are only allocated 15 vehicles (all models) a month. Yikes, the madness continues.

Side note, happy Saturday! I was flagged down by this blue beauty this week. A 2018 LC 500 Inspiration Series in the famed Structural Blue.

I coveted this color when it first came out, but never saw it in person. It’s still amazing (because it’s blue! &#128540, but I didn’t see a noticeable difference.

Has anybody noticed this on their cars? I drove about 50 miles in light rain and afterwards noticed these water streaks down my rear window. My car was dusty, but it’s still wild, it’s like an aerodynamics diagram. Does anyone else’s do this?

Nope. Then again, mine isn’t allowed to get dusty. 😜

I have NO earthly idea what voodoo Lexus has going on, but with the way I drive, this should be in the low teens. 😂 Not that I cared before, but the go-go juice is not as pricey.

I hate to burst your bubble Tony, but that's a H, not a G.

That range number though! I typically get like 340 to 350 to a tank. Low 200's is burning big dino juice.
