Lead Lap
For me, I just used a small dab of gasoline on a piece of rag and just rubbed it

Pulled the trigger, I'm in!
Finally pulled the trigger, feels surreal that I even own this thing. It's been 17 years since I bought a new car from a dealer and 10 years since I bought a car at all. Originally wanted Iridium/Black with the standard wheels and no port options, but they're barely making that combination. This white/black/std wheels came up for a smooth MSRP deal so figured I'd take the plunge, I mistakenly thought Ultra White was a flat paint, but color me surprised when I saw it in the flesh and the sunlight hit the Pearl effect I was in love, loving the 'Storm Trooper' look. Flew down to LA and drove it back up yesterday giving a quick 400 mile shakedown. It's such an amazing dual purpose car, comfort cruiser when you need it, straight up bruiser when you want it. Even in Eco Mode I was surprised how quickly it moves from 65 to 1xx mph. It ate up the road all the way the I-5, and the gas tank too. Also, I completely disagree with all of the reviews (looking at you SavageGeese) talking about the "dated" tech/infotainment and interior. The materials are smooth and soft and am I a luddite? because this thing has just as much tech, if not more than my wife's 2020 GLC. The Dash is a screen, infotainment is touch screen, apple carplay, android auto, and all the actual buttons for the functions you readily need?! This is exactly what you want from an ergonomics perspective. Of course I'm coming from a 2006 M3 so what do I know. The backseat is definitely usable for my wife and son and basically anyone under 6 ft even with the sunroof. I am in love with the V8 drama. I am certain that I made the right choice in getting the 500 instead of the CT4-V Blackwing. 400 miles in and can't wait to rack up more and really open up the V8.
Also, for you NorCal EastBay folks, do you guys prefer to service at Concord or Pleasanton? Or elsewhere?
Obligatory pic, excuse the dust and general state of the M3, it's in need of a wash soon.

Thanks and thanks to your friend as well! I'll humble myself by his declaration. Here's to 10+ years of smashing the V8.

Well fellow forum members.. I have the car now and I just love it !!!! Thanks for comments and I'll get some pictures soon. I put on some Niche M117 rims for winter setup and added some paddle shifter extensions already, just can't help myself, LOL .
