^^ True but in my opinion, what needs to happen is a even playing field by letting the manufacturers provide an adjusted MSRP and limit the price paid at the MSRP. If manufacturers can't deliver on the quotas, then they should compensate dealers as they don't need to put money on the hood like they used to do in the past so use those funds to help the dealers instead. My beef is that it is unfair that some people are paying MSRP while others are paying 15-20k over MSRP and then dealers are forced to sell locally because they have such limited allocations that they need to try and treat their AOR rather than supplying their products for the entire country. Don't get me wrong, dealers are facing the same issues here in Canada with VERY limited inventory available so why are they able to sell below MSRP?

GW was also my first choice but I went with the first one I could get which ended up being UW on black. It's definitely grown on me and I love that if I ever do want to do wheels- I can do any color. There is a GW being used by Lexus Racing currently, and at least one or two in HI. They do exist, but are very VERY uncommon. My dealer has 2 GW IS 300/350 incoming and one onsite and I am tempted to go look at it just to see what I missed out on.

I am glad I did not wait though- and jumped on the one I do have. No regrets and it was love at first drive.

Talked to sales at Nalley Lexus in Smyrna, GA this week, which is my closest dealer. Confirmed they would not add market adjustments to MSRP but did not have any info on future allocations. I am on their list to be contacted when they receive any additional IS 500 units. The GM also sent me an email thanking me for my interest and that they would stay in touch.

My original color combo was Cloudburst grey on black but that was back when I had planned to also get a C8 in their bright blue.

They started making Red Mist Metallic again and pictures don't do it justice, it looks like classic candy apple red. So beautiful! It entices me away from blue

Chevy just raised the base price by $1,000 again for the 2023 model. But have no fear, you get a massive $50 discount because they don't have chips for the rear park assist.
