In my state (Michigan) 2UR GSE is already taken by someone. That was my 1st choice though. Probably taken by a ISF, RCF, GSF or LC500 owner.

@topdunn - Can’t tell if I responded, but yes I did!

I’m of two minds… I mostly want to keep the sleeper status, but there’s a part of me that wants it to be known. I didn’t want it to be too showy or obnoxious, but kind of wanted something on the nose. 😜

If I didn't have mine already, I would have gone with "GR8 V8" but I have been using my personalized plate for over 20 years now so I am sticking with it

You're in Georgia, darn! If I ever end up in an IS 500 I can't use that.

Like I said I probably wouldn't get a personalized plate but if I did, I'd have done something similar.

Everything under the sun is already taken in CA. GR8V8 (probably like 50 years ago), IS500, REKSASU (the Japanese spelling of Lexus), REKUSAS (the other way to spell it), 5HUNDY, 5HUNDEE, heck even 5HUNNID. I kid you not. There are some real gangstas in California.

::heehee:: I’m doing my part to counteract the super-small IS 500 badging. 😈

LOL!! With a population of that size, I’m not surprised.

All my cruder ideas were rejected by the DoT and/or my wife, so went with a nod to one of my alma maters. “IS500” was available too.

Side note - Idaho is really weak as to license plate design options … only 2 or 3 options that don’t look like they were designed in 1986 on a Macintosh Plus.

Last I checked (about 3 months ago), Florida still had "2UR 500". I was going to grab that for myself but I have gone a different direction car wise.

Kimchiguy - THAT IS AMAZING!!! I love it although I am surprised they allowed this. I thought the plates in Ontario had changed to that dark blue with white lettering? Must have reverted back to the old style?

Yes, we are back to the older plates. Apparently the police were complaining they could not see the blue ones at night !!! I guess they missed that on the quality assurance testing !!!

Thanks!!! Yeah there was a big ordeal over the new plates so the Ontario government started to recall them. I think they were going to release a replacement design, but then COVID hit and it took centre stage so they just went back to the old style!
Funny thing is, they worked with 3M so I don't know how they could get it so wrong lol!
