Ah, seems very organized. When I went it was (1) orientation (2) a guided lap in the at the time new LS500 around the stadium. (3) autocross w/ LC, GSF, and RCF, and also a separate course for SUVs. But (3) was pretty much a free for all, meaning sessions blended at that point. You could go back and forth between the performance tent and SUV tent and meander all you wanted, and so I imagine you could do multiple laps. I only did 1 of each car because at that time there were so many cars and I was getting motion sickness lol.

that's crazy...i wonder if that's inflation or hype?!?! maybe paint increase or some different colors are now more expensive (kinda like tesla)? i wonder if price will go up if/when the car comes standard with that xmission cooler (that's supposedly going to be an option). some more "ifs" for this vehicle!
^^ I think everyone will adjust the MSRP of cars for 2023, I mean everything has gone up so it would be impossible for car companies to not do an adjustment either. With respect to the transmission cooler, it will not be a factory option (if they ever make it available) but more of a dealer accessory installation. That is my opinion on it but I could be wrong

The new MSRP is for the 2022 MY. I don't know when they changed it but it would seem likely that nobody who bought a 2022 will ever pay this newer price since production was cut short. Does that mean it won't go up again for 2023? Who knows. If this is the price increase for 2023, honestly, that's not bad at all...haha.

$400 isn't too crazy given inflation and the general dumpster fire that is the current car market.
Got a call yesterday from Nalley Lexus, one of the dealers where I'm on the waiting list. Salesman asked if I was still interested in getting a IS 500, I said yes, he said ok, just checking, don't have any available or know when any might show up.
Pretty sure that I was aware of that status for all of the dealer lists I'm on - didn't really need a call to let me know none were available.

Maybe they are trying to prune people who are "over it" from the wait list. I'm guessing that call was more for them than for you.

Be grateful for their follow up even though it was a nothing burger. That's decent customer service. Communication is a good thing.
^^ It is so ironic you mention that, I bumped into two guys that were in a 2021 IS 300 last evening (and the IS are superrrrrrrr rare here) and as I drove by them as they were exiting their cars, they were like "OMG is that the 500!!" and had me pull over so they could check it out. It is cool when you see people that actually know what you drive
I’ve had my IS 500 for a couple months now and have noticed a considerable amount of rattles coming from the doors, I was wondering if this was isolated or if there were several others having this issue. I didn’t have any problems with my 21 IS 350.
