The buyer can do whatever they want with it. But personally I don’t think it’ll ever be worth much more than it already is. Has there ever been a Lexus that sells for more than it MSRPd for other than the LFA? I’m talking long term (10+ years) not this pandemic shortage nonsense. The LFA doubled in 10 years, but so does the S&P 500 and LEGO sets.

^^ You are selling yourself now?!? (lol) Is that Canadian or US funds? And do you come with your own GoBag? (lol)
Sorry, I couldn't resist teasing you, I know you meant "It was sold" not I was sold
On a side note, my GF said she'd be lucky if she got 10.99$ for me

^^ Is that an official bid?!
On a serious note, I am curious if teh 2023 will be treated as a commodity as the 2022 have been - If of course 2023s are made

Very true, but the genesis of this car was to do something special for Lexus’ small band of enthusiasts. It was not meant to be a garage queen. 🤮

Correct, all of the available models have sold. There are a few stragglers used for display or demo purposes, but the rest have been sold. So that would be roughly 495 Launch Editions and maybe the same or slightly more of the Premiums and no base models. Most dealers got 1 or 2 premiums, with a handful getting more. I know an additional 4 are sitting down in Puerto Rico still for sale.
As far as 2023 goes, there hasn't been any official press about it. With FY2023 two months away, I would expect something before then. Other car companies are shifting to MY2023 (Ford, Hyundai, Dodge, Jeep, some Lexus models), and I thoroughly expect dealers to be in the dark until a good month after info comes out to the public. I would be surprised to see models actually hit the showrooms before 2023.

When I look nationwide on autotrader.com, most cars I see are also LEs for sale used. Is around 1000 units produced realistic?
I really hope 2023 models offer a sunroof up here, for me it may be a deal breaker and might make me cross border shop even for a 22.
