For now, but probably not by the end of the IS500's production.
"First Edition" is really pointless.
2. In 2022 every car is a limited edition.
To that point, is every Premium Edition more rare than a Launch Edition from an exterior and interior color perspective? Given there are 500 Launch Editions in Incognito with Black and Gray interior, there are likely fewer numbers of each exterior and interior color combination in the Premium Editions that were made available before MY22 production ended.

If these total sales numbers for the IS are accurate (https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/lexus-is-sales-figures), with the 22 possible exterior and interior color combinations for the IS 500 Premium, it would take years before each reaches 500 in count (particularly with the IS 300 and IS 350 models likely making up the bulk of total sales for the line). I suspect production for the IS 500 will be significantly limited again for MY23 and that continued production will not likely go too many years beyond that given Lexus' electrified roadmap. With that, 500 total for each IS 500 Premium color combination before production ends seems improbable at best.

So has anyone taken their IS500 'out of country' and found out the actual top speed? My math is coming up with theoretical top speed of 182 mph at redline in 6th gear (1.0 ratio on the 3.133 axle ratio). Drag might limit things before that, and don't think 7th gear's 0.82 ratio will be able to pull at those speeds.

The USB on white that my dealer sold in January got brought back by the guy, he's supposedly expecting a baby so wanted to get rid of the 500.
They're asking 84k CAD, which is 9k more than MSRP. The car has 2600km on it.

It might be tire limited, I don't even know the speed rating on the stock poopstone tires.
LOL I'm the same way, but its the getting caught that is too much for my nerves

My local Dealer I bought my LE at msrp wants to buy mine back too & CPO it. They also confirmed that 2023 is the last year of the RCF & if I buy one it's for msrp. So tempting but will have to wait till end of the year to see the US specs on the 2023 IS500. The RCF is also a very special car to me.

^^ I agree, the RC F is a gorgeous car but a few things I am not as fond of:
1. I like the practicality of a sedan (and it's shorter doors)
2. I don't think I can go back to a "non touch screen" for the naviscreen
3. Prefer the headlight assembly of the IS 500
The thing I would love about the RC F would be the vented hood
That being said, if the rumors of an orange IS 500 are true, I may take my dealer's offer - I think that would be a cool car to have.
